Learning Hub Overview

Docket's Learning Hub is an online training site designed to help you and your team get comfortable with using Docket on a daily basis as quickly as possible.

The Learning Hub holds all of our training courses that each focus on a specific topic so that you and your team can pick what you learn and when. This makes it easy to train seasonal hires or siloed teams on just the particular features and workflows applicable to their job duties.

Inside each training course you'll see written lessons, video lessons, interactive practice lessons, and more, all expertly crafted to give you the knowledge you'll need to start using Docket in your business as soon as possible.

You and your team can learn at your own pace and come back to any lesson in the future as a refresher, if needed.

Before You Start

Here are a few things to know before you continue:

  • Only currently active Docket users are able to access the Learning Hub. If you're unable to log into the Learning Hub, please confirm whether you have been added as an Employee to an active Docket account.
  • Once you've been added to an active Docket account as an Employee, you'll be automatically set up with a Learning Hub profile within an hour and receive a Welcome email with your login information. This is sometimes filtered to Spam/Junk.
  • The email address in your Docket profile will be your Username and you'll be set up with a temporary Password that doesn't match your current Docket password. 
    • When you first log into the Learning Hub, you'll be asked to personalize your password and you can change it to match your Docket password, if desired.
  • Once you enroll in a training course, you'll receive reminder emails every Monday to complete it. These cannot be turned off so the fastest way to stop them is to complete the course in a timely manner or unenroll yourself from the course.

Log Into Docket's Learning Hub

All Docket users have access to the Learning Hub within an hour of being added as an Employee to a Docket account.

To access your 24/7 training resources in Docket's Learning Hub, follow the instructions below:

  1. Click on learning.yourdocket.com or copy/paste it into a new browser tab.
  2. Enter the email address you use to log into Docket as your Username.
  3. If you've never logged into the Learning Hub before, enter Docket123# as your Password.

    If you've logged into the Learning Hub before, enter the Password you set up previously or click "Forgot your password?" to reset it.

    Please Note: When you first log in for the very first time, you'll be asked to change the password from Docket123# to something more familiar. We suggest setting it to the same password you use to log into Docket to keep it easy.


     
  4. Click "Sign In".

TIP: If you want to change the email address you use as a Username for the Learning Hub, please change it in your Docket profile and the change will be reflected in the Learning Hub within an hour. 

Available Training Courses

Once you're logged into the Learning Hub, you'll have access to all our training courses. 

There are currently 7 training courses available in the Learning Hub:

  1. Getting Started with Docket
  2. Scheduling Dumpster Tasks
  3. Dispatching Dumpster Tasks
  4. Billing Your Clients
  5. Launching Your Docket Website
  6. Setting Up DocketShop with a Pricing Matrix
  7. Setting Up DocketShop with Pricing Templates

Feel free to enroll in any of them that catch your interest, just be aware that you'll receive a weekly reminder email to finish the course until you're done!

Enroll in a Single Training Course

A Training Course is a single collection of certain lessons that all focus on a single topic, like account setup, billing your clients, or DocketShop. You’ll progress through a course by completing each lesson in order until you reach the end and earn your course completion certificate.

To look at all the available training courses and enroll in one, follow the instructions below:

  1. Scroll down to the bottom of the Home Page.
  2. In the All Courses section, click on the course card that you want to enroll in.
  3. Click on the green "Enroll" button to the right.

Unenroll From a Single Training Course

If you want to unenroll yourself from a training course before completing it, just follow the instructions below:

  1. Open the course and click on the three horizontal dots in the top right corner.
  2. Click “Unenroll” from the menu.

  3. Confirm your action by clicking the “Unenroll” button in the prompt that appears.


TIP: If you unenroll yourself after completing some of the lessons within this training course and later decide you want to finish it, you can re-enroll in the training course and your previous progress will be saved.

Enroll in a Learning Path 

A Learning Path is a program that contains a collection of different training courses, each with their own set of lessons. You’ll complete each individual training course until you finish the last one.

To look at all the available learning paths and enroll in one, follow the instructions below:

  1. Scroll down to the bottom of the Home Page.
  2. In the All Courses section, click on the learning plan card that you want to enroll in.
  3. Click on the green "Enroll" button to the right.

Unenroll from a Learning Path

There is no way to unenroll yourself from a learning path, so you'll need to send a request to our Customer Education team via custed@servicecore.com and they'll be able to unenroll you from the learning path.

See the Courses/Learning Paths You're Enrolled In

If you want to see a list of all the courses you're currently enrolled in or have previously completed, follow the instructions below:

  1. From the Home Page, click on "My Activities" on the right.

  2. Click into either "Courses" or "Learning plans" on the left to review your progress.
