  2. Under General > Settings, locate Billing Template Categories.
  3. Add a billing template category for each rental category you added in rental management.
    • Spelling must match exactly to ensure pricing pulls correctly when creating rental tasks.
  4. Click Save Settings at the top-right of the Billing Settings page.

Step 5: Apply Billing Template Categories

  1. In the left-hand navigation bar, go to Billing > Templates.
  2. Click +New in the top-left to create new billing templates using the categories from Step 4.
  3. If different rental lengths have different prices, include the rental length in the template title to make selection easier when scheduling.

Important Notes

Dumpster management references a pricing matrix, but rental management relies on templates for pricing.
Wording must match exactly when setting up categories and templates to ensure pricing pulls correctly.

By following these steps, you’ll have Rental Management successfully set up and ready to use in Docket! 🚀
