Please Note: If you have already completed the setup for IronRouteAI, the health check banner will let you know that you are configured for optimization with an option to “Review Configuration.”

Complete Setup

There are several sections that must be completed in order to be configured for IronRouteAI. The setup wizard takes you through each step and provides easy access to make the necessary changes.

Yard Locations

Select the yard location where drivers should start their day. If you do not have a yard listed, click the link to add one. This is where your drivers will start and end their routes.

Dump Locations

Configure the materials and costs for your dump locations. If you do not have a dump location listed, click the link to add one. Each dump location is required to have at least one material and price configured. You can click the link under “Configure” to add materials and pricing while keeping the wizard open.

TIP: Use the Default Waste Material (Optional) drop-down to select a default material for IronRouteAI to use to select a dump location when a task does not have a specified material.

Fleet

Configure your vehicles to reflect their carrying capabilities. If certain vehicles can only handle specific dumpster sizes, be sure to define those limitations. If a vehicle can handle all of your dumpsters, just leave the capacity fields blank and IronRouteAI will assume that the vehicle can handle all dumpster sizes. If you do not have a vehicle listed, click the link to add one.

TIP: Use the Cost to Operate per Mile field if some vehicles are more expensive to operate than others. If not specified, this value defaults to $1.50 per mile.

Drivers

Assign a vehicle to each driver and add additional details such as hourly rate and start time, if they differ from the default settings. If you do not have a driver listed, click the link to add one.

Confirm and Complete Setup

After completing each step, confirm that you see “Completed” with a checkmark next to each section. Once all steps are complete, click the “Complete” button on the final step. Your account is now ready to use IronRouteAI to optimize your day!
