FAQs About Websites

Frequently asked questions from our customers.

What if I need to update my DNS settings on my website?

Docket customers signed on before May 2023: Our team likely manages your website’s DNS settings. Contact our Support team with your request, and we can assist.

Docket customers signed on after May 2023: You are responsible for managing your DNS settings. To find your domain host:

  1. Go to Whois.

  2. Enter your website’s URL in the search bar (top right).

  3. Find your Registrar (domain provider).

  4. Visit the Registrar’s website and log in with your domain credentials.

  5. Contact their support team if needed.

  6. Locate your DNS settings to update A records, CNAME records, and more.

Do you track how many visitors come to my website?

No. If you need this data, set up a Google Analytics account and configure tracking (see Plugins, SEO, and Website Analytics section for details).

Do you optimize my website content for SEO for me?

No. Our default website content is broad and not optimized for your local market. If you submitted custom content via your Website Submission Form, that content was used. Otherwise, you’ll need to optimize your content manually using Rank Math SEO (see Plugins, SEO, and Website Analytics section).

Why are my changes not showing even though I clicked Update?

Your website may be displaying a cached version of the page. Caching temporarily saves website data to load pages faster, sometimes preventing immediate updates from appearing.

To resolve this:

  • Wait a few minutes for the cache to update.

  • Try refreshing the page or clearing your browser cache.

  • If changes still don't appear, reach out to Support.

How do I undo a change I saved?

Mistakes happen! If you need to revert a change:

  1. Log in to your WordPress account.

  2. On your Dashboard, click Pages.

  3. Find the page you want to edit and click Edit with Elementor.

  4. Click the large white circle button with horizontal lines (top left).

  5. Select History > Revisions.

  6. Choose a previous version of the page and click Apply.

  7. Click Update or Publish to save your changes.

⚠️ WordPress does not store unlimited revisions, so it’s best to revert changes soon after they occur.
