How Do I Change Text or an Image on My Website?

To Edit Text on a Page:

  1. Log in to your WordPress account.

  2. On your Dashboard, click Pages in the left sidebar.

  3. Find the page you want to edit and click Edit with Elementor.

  4. Locate the text box you’d like to edit.

  5. Click the pink pencil icon in the top right of the text box.

  6. In the left menu, make your changes under Edit Heading/Text Editor.

  7. Use the left menu to style the text (color, spacing, font, etc.).

  8. Click Update or Publish to save your changes.

To Edit an Image:

  1. Log in to your WordPress Dashboard.

  2. Click Pages on the left sidebar and find the page you want to edit.

  3. Click Edit with Elementor.

  4. Click the image you want to change.

  5. Click the pink pencil icon in the top right of the image.

  6. In the left menu, click Choose your image to replace it.

  7. Be mindful of image size dimensions.

  8. Click Update or Publish to save your changes.

How Do I Update My Website’s Menu in the Header and Footer?

  1. Log in to your WordPress Dashboard.

  2. Click Appearance > Menus in the left sidebar.

  3. Add, remove, or rearrange menu items (pages).

  4. Click Save Menu.

  5. Update the footer menu manually if needed.

How Do I Change My Dumpster Pricing?

  1. Log in to your WordPress account.

  2. Click Pages in the Dashboard sidebar.

  3. Find and edit the Home or Dumpsters/Pricing page.

  4. Scroll to your dumpster pricing section in Elementor.

  1. Log in to your WordPress Dashboard.

  5. Make your changes.

  6. Click Update or Publish to save changes.

How Do I Change the Contact Form on My Website?

This is done in Docket, not WordPress.

  1. Log in to Docket.

  2. Navigate to Forms.

  3. Click Contact (Web) Form.

  4. Make your changes and click Update Form.

  5. Changes will reflect on your website automatically.

How Do I Change the Featured Image on a Blog Post?

  1. Log in to WordPress.

  2. Click Posts in the Dashboard.

  3. Find and edit the blog post.

  4. Scroll to Featured Image (bottom right).

  5. Click to add or change the image.

  6. Click Update or Publish to save changes.

How Do I Change My Website’s Font or Colors?

Changing Fonts:

  1. Log in to WordPress.

  2. Click Edit with Elementor at the top.

  3. Click the three-line menu (top left) > Site Settings.

  4. Click Global Fonts to edit text styles.

  5. Click Update to save changes.

Changing Colors:

  1. Click Global Colors in Site Settings.

  2. Update Primary, Secondary, Text, and Accent colors.

  3. Click Update to save changes.

Note: These changes only apply to elements set to Default styling.

How Do I Change Buttons or Phone Numbers on My Website?

Changing Button Text or Links:

  1. Log in to WordPress.

  2. Click Pages and find the page with the button.

  3. Click Edit with Elementor.

  4. Right-click the button and click Edit Button.

  5. Modify the text or link in the left menu.

  6. Click Update or Publish to save changes.

Updating a Phone Number in a Website Banner:

  1. Edit the Main Header using Elementor.

  2. Click Responsive Mode and select Mobile.

  3. Click the Call Now section.

  4. Update the phone number in the text and link field.

  5. Click Update or Publish to save changes.

Updating a Footer Phone Number:

  1. Edit the Main Footer using Elementor.

  2. Click Responsive Mode and select Mobile.

  3. Click the Call Now button in the footer.

  4. Update the phone number in the link field (use tel: format).

  5. Click Update or Publish to save changes.
