5/22/2025 Release Notes - Asset Availability and Schedule updates, Bug Fixes

⛏️ Docket Release Notes - May 22, 2025 ️⛏️

Hello everyone! We're excited to share some new enhancements and important fixes we've rolled out this week to make your Docket experience even better.

What's New & Improved

  • Operations & Scheduling:
    • Easier Navigation in Scheduling View: The scheduling view now defaults to the current date and displays the day of the week, making your daily planning simpler.
  • Platform Upgrades:
    • Clearer Error Information: We've improved error messages throughout the system to be more specific and easier to understand. If something unexpected happens, this will help you and our support team identify and resolve issues more quickly.
    • Smarter Asset Availability: To prevent booking conflicts, dumpsters and other rental assets will no longer appear as available if your chosen rental period overlaps with an existing booking. For example, if an asset is already rented for January 5th, it won’t show as available for a one-week rental starting on January 1st.

🐞 Recent Fixes 🐞

We've also been busy resolving some issues to improve your experience:

  • Your client's Account ID will now be correctly hidden on PDF invoice notifications based on your company settings.
  • Resolved an issue to ensure payments can be reliably accepted on the Mobile App.
  • Employee notifications for "Dumpster Rental Task Ending" are now being sent correctly for applicable rentals.
  • The "Completed Task by Client Type" report export now accurately includes the client type information.
  • Invoices deleted in bulk will now correctly appear on the Deleted Invoices report.
  • Sales rep information now correctly carries over when a task is duplicated.
  • Corrected an issue with resetting payment options in the mobile app.
  • Ensured that source fields are not incorrectly carried over when duplicating expenses.
  • The date dropdown filter in the Notification Log now works as expected.
