The Dump Tasks [Beta] Report gives you a clear view of every pick up, exchange, live load, and dump and return task within a specific date range. With flexible filters for client, location, and material type, this report helps you track performance, monitor volume, and calculate revenue of your dumpster tasks.
Before You Start
Here are a few things to know before you continue:
- By default, Admins and Office Staff have access to Reports (Beta). Admins can also choose to grant access to other roles.
- If you don't see the Reports (Beta) option in your menu, you may not have the necessary permissions. Reach out to your Admin for access.

Key Features
- Tasks Summary: Displays key operational metrics including total tasks, total number of clients, average number of tasks per day, total average tons (or tonnes) and total revenue.
- Filtering Options: Allows users to filter dump tasks by date range, timezone, client, dump location, material type, and change unit of measurement (tons or tonnes).
- Dump Tasks Table: Provides a detailed list of the tasks, including information such as PIN, task type, dump location, ticket number, and more!
Run the Dump Tasks [Beta] Report
- Click "Reports (Beta)" in the left-hand menu under Administration.
- Scroll down to find Dump Tasks [Beta] listed under Operations Reports.
- Click the "Open Inline" icon to run the report in Docket.

Dump Tasks [Beta] Report Summary
When the report loads, the tasks summary at the top provides a look into dump tasks metrics for the specified date range. When you change the date range of the report, or apply filters, the summary will automatically update based on your selections.
The different categories in this summary of dump tasks are:
- Total Tasks: Sum of the quantity of tasks shown in the report.
- Total Number of Clients: Sum of the number of clients related to the tasks shown in the report.
- Average Number of Tasks/Day: Divides the total number of tasks per the quantity of days that had tasks within the selected date range.
- Total Average Tons (or Tonnes): Average volume in Tons or Tonnes, based on what is selected in the Measurement filter.
- Total Revenue: Sum of the revenue from the invoices that are related to the tasks shown in the report.

Report Filters
Below the tasks summary, you can refine your results using filter options.
The Dump Tasks [Beta] Report offers a range of filters to help you narrow down and view specific data:
- Date Range: Filter the report to show only tasks that are within the date range chosen.
- Timezone: Select what timezone will be applied when filtering the date range.
- Client: Filter the report to show only tasks that are related to the selected client(s).
- Dump Location: Filter the report to show only tasks that are related to the selected client(s).
- Material Type: Filter the report to show only tasks that are related to the selected client(s).
- Measurement: Select which unit measurement will be used to show the volume in the report: Tons (default) or Tonnes.
Please Note: The report will automatically update after each filter option is selected or changed.
Sorting the Table
After using the filters based on your preferences, you have additional options to sort the data that is presented in the table below.
- Click one of the table’s column headers.
- Select your sorting preference.
- Each column can be sorted either alphabetically A-Z or Z-A OR numerically ascending or descending. For instance, the Revenue column will sort numerically while the Client column will sort alphabetically.
Export or Send the Dump Tasks [Beta] Report
Export Report
Once you have your report displaying the information you want, you can download it for your records.
- Hover over the table so a menu appears in the top right corner of the table.
- Click the three vertical dots.
- In the menu that appears, hover over "Export."
- Select your file preference in the list of options that appear in the dropdown and the report will download in the file format you selected.
- When exporting as a PDF, you can choose Portrait or Landscape layout.
Please Note: You can export up to 1 million rows at a time. If your table contains more than 1 million rows, we recommend using filters to break the data into smaller, exportable chunks.
Send Report
In addition to downloading the report to your computer, you can also email the report.
- Hover over the table so a menu appears in the top right corner of the table.
- Click the three vertical dots.
- In the menu that appears, hover over "Export."

Click "Export…" at the bottom of the list under the Send section.

In the pop-up that appears, click the mail icon.
- Enter the email address of the recipient.

Click "Export" to send an email with the report attached.
Please Note: On the final screen, you can also customize the email subject, select specific attachments and file types, or send the report as a .zip file.
