Today's release includes several improvements for Dispatch 2.0, especially to improve usability of Dispatch 2.0 on tablet devices.
✨Enhancements
- Improved Tablet Experience: For users on tablet devices, Dispatch 2.0 will now load in the full desktop mode when your device is in landscape (horizontal) orientation, restoring full drag-and-drop functionality and providing a more flexible view. The mobile view will still be used in portrait (vertical) mode.
- Filter for Jobs on Dispatch 2.0: A new filter has been added to allow you to toggle the visibility of "Jobs" on the Dispatch 2.0 Map View, making it easier to focus on the specific types of tasks or jobs that you're managing.
- Icon for Online Orders of Jobs: To make it easier to identify jobs created through your online booking tool at a glance, we've added a new shopping cart icon to the corresponding job cards on the dispatch board.
- Improved Vehicle Assignment: To prevent assignment errors, we've implemented new validation to ensure that certain vehicle types can only be assigned to their appropriate job types.
🛠️ Bug Fixes
- Scheduling Data: We resolved an issue to ensure that pricing and weight details are always correctly carried over when scheduling certain types of tasks together.
- Dump PIN Tasks: We fixed a bug that prevented Dump PIN tasks from being moved correctly on the Dispatch 2.0 board.
