Lots of enhancements and bug fixes in today's release. For ease of reading, we've broken it up into sections for the web app and our mobile driver app. Check it out below!
Web App
Enhancements ✨
- Improved Report Filters: We've made it easier to use and hide report filters. This gives you more space to view your reports and makes it clearer how to find the exact data you need.
Bug Fixes 🐛
- We fixed a payment error that occurred on some invoices when item names were not included.
- We resolved a bug that was preventing ACH payments from working in the client dashboard.
- We fixed an issue in IronRoute where unassigned tasks were incorrectly appearing as assigned after you applied routes.
- When creating a new task, we added a warning that appears if the service address zip code is outside of your location's territory. This helps prevent potential errors.
- We resolved inconsistencies in push notifications, ensuring you will now receive timely and accurate mobile alerts when a task is assigned to you.
Mobile Driver App v3.6.0
PLEASE NOTE: This version is being released to groups of users in phases, so it will be made available to all users over the coming days. You/your drivers may not see the updates right away.
New Features & Improvements ✨
- A New Login Experience: We've given the login screen a fresh look and added some features you’ve been asking for:
- Forgot Password: You can now reset your password yourself if you have any trouble logging in.
- Password Visibility: An eye icon lets you see your password as you type, so you can check that it's correct.
- Better Keyboard: The keyboard now loads properly and no longer defaults the first character to capitalized, so you can log in faster.
- Loading Screen: A new screen shows after you log in, so all your data is loaded and ready to go when you start using the app.
- Improved Photo Uploads: We've made it much faster and easier to add photos:
- Select Multiple Images: You can now select up to 12 images from your gallery at once, instead of adding them one by one.
- Rapid Photo Capture: When you take a picture in the app, you will get an option to keep taking more photos, making it much faster to capture a series of pictures.
- Background Uploading: Photos will now upload in the background, so you can continue working without waiting for them to finish before you complete your tasks. This is especially helpful for users in areas with a weak signal.
- Other Enhancements
- If a QR code scan fails, the app now gives a more helpful reason why.
- We removed some unnecessary permission requests to make the app feel smoother.
Bug Fixes 🐛
- We fixed an issue where drivers were unable to close the notes window when the notes were very long.
- We resolved a bug where tasks created in the mobile app would not display correctly on the Dispatch 2.0 screen.
- We fixed a bug that was preventing tax groups from working correctly when creating an invoice or estimate.
- We fixed an issue that was causing some users to get caught in a login loop or to need to log in multiple times.
- We resolved a bug where the date would not display on the date selector on some tablets.
