Feature Update: IronRouteAI Unassigned View Split-Screen Restored
When building routes from unassigned stops, the IronRouteAI preview now shows the map and route list side by side at the same time.
Audience: IronRouteAI Users (Pro Plus Plan)
What Changed
- When generating routes from unassigned stops, the IronRouteAI preview modal now displays a split-screen layout with the map on one side and the route list on the other.
- Both panels are visible simultaneously without scrolling.
- This applies to the unassigned route creation flow only. The before/after comparison view for existing routes is unchanged.
Why It Matters
Previously, the route list appeared below the full-screen map in this view, requiring significant scrolling to see both at once. That made it hard to cross-reference the map and the list while reviewing proposed routes.

Feature Update: Cleaner, More Accurate Task History
Task History now shows only meaningful, user-facing changes, with accurate status transitions and clearer linked task labels.
What Changed
- Internal routing fields, empty timeline rows, and duplicate log entries no longer appear in Task History.
- Failure details (Failed By, Reason for Failure, Origin of Failure) now appear only when a task is actually being marked as failed, not when completing or un-completing a task.
- The "Failed?" status transition now shows the correct before/after values instead of always displaying "Yes to No."
- Linked tasks now show meaningful context, such as "No connection to Task #12345," instead of blank or incomplete rows.
Why It Matters
Previously, Task History surfaced system-level fields and showed incorrect failure state values, making the timeline hard to read and sometimes misleading. It was difficult to get an accurate picture of what actually changed on a task and when.
Fixes
Task Failing Reverts to Pending: When marking a task as failed, the status was reverting back to pending instead of holding, that's resolved. Tasks now stay in a failed status after you mark them.
Mobile Card Reader Payments Not Processing: Card reader payments were appearing to start processing but then failing every time without completing, that's resolved. Mobile card reader payments now process successfully.
Pricing Matrix Import Overrides Subscription Field: When uploading a Commercial and Residential (C&R) pricing matrix, the Subscription field on every line item was being set to "No" after import, regardless of what was configured in the file. That required manual correction after every import, that's resolved. The import now reads and applies the Subscription value from your file.
