App Overview

Docket's driver app includes 4 main areas:

  1. Schedule
  2. Timesheet
  3. Clients
  4. Operations

You'll spend most of your time in the Schedule area, completing tasks that are assigned to you each day.

Schedule

This is the main screen you'll always land on when you first log in. This is where you'll see a list of all the tasks assigned to you for that day.

You can navigate between days at the top of the screen, tap today’s date to pull up the full calendar navigation, and toggle between open and completed tasks.

If you see a + button at the bottom of the screen, tapping that will bring up a list of optional options that your Admin has given you permission to access. You may have only have access to some from the list that shows below.

Tapping on a task card will pull up its details like service address, associated client, and any notes from the office.

Complete a Task

Working in Docket's mobile app each day is a breeze!

When you're ready to complete a task, just follow the instructions below:

  1. Tap the "On our way!" button from either the task card or the task details screen.

  2. If the office has added any comments to the task, those will appear immediately after you tap on the button. They'll also appear each time you tap into a task's details.

TIP: If you need to view the task notes again after closing it, you can tap the "Notes" button on the task details screen to bring it back up.

  3. Tap the “Navigate” button to bring up your navigation app.

  4. When you arrive at the service address, complete the task as you normally would. Then tap the button on the bottom right of the task's details screen to confirm the task is complete. The button will say "Drop Off", "Pick Up", "Exchange", etc...depending on the type of task you're completing.

  5.  Depending on how your Account Owner/Admin has set up your mobile app settings, you may be required to enter a dumpster PIN or scan a QR code.

  6. Tap the "Done" at the bottom of the task details screen to return to your main list and begin the process again.

TIP: As you're completing a task, you may need to tap the "More" button at the bottom of a task's details screen to use some of the additional options listed there.

“Failed Drop Off” can be used if something prevents you from completing the task.

“Images” is how you'll upload photos related to the task. This can be useful for documenting dumpster placement, condition, or other site-specific details. It’s also an easy way for you to save proof of an issue preventing them from completing the task.

“Add Client Signature” allows clients to confirm with their signature that a task has been completed. This is not a way for clients to sign your company's terms and conditions since that should've already been completed.

“Add Driver Feedback” gives you a place to enter notes about the task.

Timesheet

If your company keeps track of work hours in the app, this is where you'll clock in and out.

Clients

This tab has all the contact details for the clients you'll be working with today.

Tapping on a client card shows you their contact details and more if your permissions allow.

Operations

This tab allows you to mark a dumpster as damaged and more if your permissions allow.
