Next time you open an invoice on the mobile app, you'll notice some things look a little different. We've refreshed some key areas to make it even easier for you to manage your invoices, sign important documents, and handle payments. This guide will walk you through the most important changes so you can get back to what you do best.
Why We Made These Changes
You might be wondering, "Why the change?" Our goal is always to provide you with the best possible tool to manage your business. Rest assured, all of the capabilities you had previously are still there! We simply focused on making the app more modern, efficient, and reliable for you. These updates are all about:
- Modernizing Your Experience: We've updated the look and feel to be more in line with today's mobile apps, making everything feel fresh and intuitive.
- Making Payments Easier & More Secure: For our customers with Fiserv as their payment processor, you'll now have the ability to use a bluetooth card reader for in-person transactions, one of the most secure forms of credit card payment.
- Saving You Time: Important actions are now more straightforward, meaning less tapping and waiting.
- Improving Reliability: We've fixed some tricky issues to ensure the app works smoothly every time, especially when signing documents.

1. Invoice Detail Pages: A Clearer View of Your Transactions
We've given the invoice detail pages a fresh new look to make it easier to understand all the information at a glance. You'll find the layout familiar, but with a cleaner, more modern design that makes better use of your screen space.
What's New & Different:
- Before: You'll remember a clear, functional layout, but with tight groupings of information.

Now: We've refreshed the design with modern touches, making better use of your screen space.
- Improved Readability: Information is now presented even more clearly, making it easier to read and quickly understand all the details of an invoice.
- Organized Sections: Details like line items, taxes, and discounts are now neatly grouped together for quick reference.
- Actions Made Easy & Clear: We've made button placement more consistent with the rest of the app, and increased the thickness of the text to make buttons easier to read.
2. Document Signing: A Smoother Signature Experience
Signing documents on the go is now simpler, more stable, and more reliable. We've made sure document content is easy to review before signing, and ensured your clients' signatures are captured clearly and securely without any headaches.
What's New & Different:
- Before: You might have experienced issues where the app would get stuck in landscape mode after signing, preventing you from returning to the regular portrait view. Also, reviewing document content could sometimes be tricky as longer documents were squished into the available screen space.

Now: We've made signing much more reliable and user-friendly:
- More Stable Experience: Clients can now sign in portrait mode, making the entire process much more stable. We also split up the Sign and Cancel buttons to give you more control over how signatures are recorded.
- Easier Document Review: The document content is now always displayed in a readable font size and is scrollable. This allows clients to properly review all terms and details before they sign.
- Larger, Clearer Signature Area: We have expanded the signature area in portrait mode to allow more space for clients to add their signature without feeling constrained by the signature area.
3. The New Payment Experience: Faster & Easier Payments
We've redesigned how you collect payments, making it quicker and more flexible, especially if you're using a credit card reader. While the previous process worked well, these updates aim to make your workflow even more efficient and professional.
What's New & Different:
- Before: You could easily collect payments, but the process involved more taps, and credit card details had to be typed in manually.

Now: The payment process is even more intuitive for everyone:
- More Stable & Fewer Taps: We've streamlined the process, providing a more stable experience that requires fewer taps to complete a payment.
- Refreshed Look and Feel: The entire payment section has a modern, clean design that's easy to navigate.
- Larger Buttons: We've increased the size of the selectable options on screen, making them easier to read and tap while in the field.
For Customers Utilizing Fiserv as Their Processor:
We've made significant improvements for those of you who use Fiserv, introducing the capability to use a Bluetooth credit card reader for in-person transactions.
- Before: You relied on manual entry for card payments.

Now: We've integrated a seamless credit card reader experience:
- Introducing the Clover Go Card Reader: You can now connect a Clover Go Bluetooth credit card reader directly to your device through the app! This allows you to accept card-present transactions (where the client's card is physically tapped, or inserted) right in the field.
- Boost Your Professionalism: Using a card reader makes your business look more modern and professional, providing a familiar and secure payment experience for your clients.
- Improved Security: Card-present transactions offer enhanced security for credit card payments, reducing fraud risks.
- Potentially Better Rates: Accepting card-present payments can often qualify you for better processing rates compared to manually entering card details.
