Docket Release 7/15/25 - Mobile Payments & Dispatch 2.0 Improvements

📢 Docket Release Notes – July 15, 2025

This update brings new features for added security and smoother field payments, plus a long list of Dispatch 2.0 and mobile app improvements. Scroll down for all the updates and fixes.


🥳 New Features

  • Client Dashboard PIN Lockdown
    You can now enable PIN protection on the Client Dashboard. This adds a layer of security when clients log in.

  • Mobile App Credit Card Payments – Bluetooth Card Reader Support
    Starting Wednesday, July 16th, we will begin rolling out support for card present payments in the mobile app! With it, drivers can now collect payments in the field using a Clover Go Bluetooth card reader.

    • Only available for Fiserv credit card processing

    • Supports tap and chip payments

    • Setup is available in the app’s Settings

Mobile App

  • Improved Look and Feel (for a more detailed overview of these improvements, click here)

    • Invoices: Better layout and readability

    • Documents: Scrollable agreements and larger text; better signature capture

    • Payments: Clearer buttons and consistent fields for easier use

Dispatch 2.0

  • Task Cards and Navigation

    • Completed task index numbers now stay put

    • Irrelevant buttons hidden on completed tasks

    • Extra Tasks column now uses a tabbed layout for quick view of unassigned, unscheduled, and outstanding tasks

    • Invoices can be opened straight from task cards

    • “Change Driver” dropdown no longer auto-fills and now excludes contractors

    • Task cards now expand/collapse easier, with better visibility while hovering

    • Task cards highlight when selected from the map

    • Completed tasks default to a collapsed view

    • Top nav bar cleaned up – single expand/collapse button, “Today” button moved next to the date picker

    • “Dump Later” task cards now show client name and address

General

  • Dumpsters.com Integration Card: Now includes partner requirements and response time info

  • Broker Warning Modal: Updated to auto-close the sidebar, with clearer text

  • Vehicle Sidebar UI: Empty spaces are now easier to spot

  • Client Notifications: Added for PIN creation, updates, or removal

  • Broker Task Creation Warning: New modal appears when trying to create tasks for broker clients

  • DocketShop Speed Improvements: Faster load times for the embedded booking tool


 

🐛 Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue with invoices assigned to tasks showing up incorrectly on the "invoice without task" report.

  • Fixed an issue where addresses from Google weren’t pulling into Docket correctly.

  • Fixed a problem where the “Request Pickup/Exchange” buttons on the Client Dashboard could be clicked multiple times, causing duplicate tasks.

  • Fixed an issue with unavailable days overlapping during online booking.

  • Fixed an issue where bulk sending Account Statements only allowed customer selection from the current page—now you can select across multiple pages.

  • Fixed an issue where some clients were showing an incorrect balance on the Clients page.

  • Fixed a display issue where the “Add New Object” button wasn’t showing on certain tablet screen sizes when using the mobile web.

  • Fixed a problem in the mobile app with line item search and adding custom items by typing in a name.

  • Restored the ability to convert estimates into invoices using the mobile app.

  • Fixed an issue where jobs in the mobile app didn’t match tasks in how geofencing and on-site timers worked.

  • Fixed an issue in the mobile app where invoice and estimate line item searches didn’t filter properly based on the document type.

  • Fixed a bug in the mobile app where the asset window didn’t close after completing a yard drop.

  • Updated the mobile app’s offline payment warning from green to orange for better clarity.

  • Fixed a problem in the mobile app where the transaction overlay wouldn’t close automatically after 60 seconds if no card reader payment was made.
