Feature Update: Ad Hoc Stops Now Appear Immediately in Route Tracker
Ad hoc stops now appear in Route Tracker right away after scheduling, and are visually distinguished from recurring stops so dispatchers can identify them at a glance.
Audience: Commercial and Residential Customers
What Changed
- After scheduling an ad hoc stop, it appears immediately in the Unassigned list or the assigned route. No page refresh needed.
- Ad hoc stops now display an "Ad-hoc" label on the stop card, in the stop instance side deck, and on the stop details page, regardless of whether the stop is assigned or unassigned.
Why It Matters
Previously, ad hoc stops weren't appearing in Route Tracker after scheduling, which made it difficult for Dispatchers to manage them. Stops now show up where you expect them, immediately.

Feature Update: Route Tracker and Recurring Routes Refresh Automatically
Changes made in Recurring Routes now appear in Route Tracker immediately, without requiring a manual page refresh.
Audience: Commercial and Residential Customers
What Changed
- Adding stops, editing stops, or adjusting stops on a Recurring Route now reflects in Route Tracker right away after saving.
- Dispatchers and schedulers no longer need to reload the page to see current route data.
Why It Matters
Previously, any change made in Recurring Routes required a manual refresh before it appeared in Route Tracker. That made it easy to work off stale data without realizing it, especially mid-shift when things are moving fast.

Feature Update: Recurring Invoice Now Accessible from the Global "+ New" Menu
You can now search for and create a Recurring Invoice from the global "+ New" menu from any screen in Docket, without navigating to a specific page first..
What Changed
- Click the "+ New" button from anywhere in Docket and Recurring Invoice will be an option in the drop-down menu, or use the Search Actions to find it.
- Selecting "Recurring Invoice" opens the same recurring invoice creation flow you use today. No steps or fields have changed.
Why It Matters
Previously, accessing recurring invoice creation required knowing which page to navigate to first. The global + New menu makes it findable from anywhere in Docket.
New to Recurring Invoices?

Feature Update: No More $0 Invoices for Comp Accounts
Docket no longer generates recurring invoices for accounts with no billing rate configured.
Audience: Customers that have Comp or Exempt Clients on Recurring Billing
What Changed
- Recurring invoice generation now skips accounts with no billing rate set. No new $0.00 invoices will be created for those accounts going forward.
- Previously generated $0.00 invoices remain in your account for review or voiding, but will not be recreated.
Why It Matters
Comp or exempt accounts were generating $0.00 invoices on their normal billing cadence, cluttering the billing queue and creating risk that a $0 invoice could be sent to a client by mistake. The billing queue now only surfaces invoices that need action.
Fixes
Fixed an issue where previously removed failed tasks were reappearing in billing issues, causing confusion for customers who had already resolved them.
Fixed an issue on split-exchange tasks where changing the drop-off dumpster size without saving and then clicking "+ Invoice" would generate a line item with the correct size label but a $0.00 rate.
Fixed an issue where customers who paid a past-due invoice via ACH were still receiving past-due email/SMS reminders while the payment was in a pending state.
Fixed an issue in DocketShop where delivery fees were not having tax applied even when the tax setting was enabled in Dumpster Management, the setting was correctly applied on manually created tasks but ignored in the DocketShop flow.
Fixed an issue in DocketShop where the credit card field was missing at checkout when a customer navigated back to add a product without refreshing the page.
