6/17/2026 - Mobile App Camera Tools, Offline Alert, App Cleanup, Fix

These updates are available on June 17, 2026. Hard refresh your browser or update the Docket Mobile App to v4.3.0 to make sure you're seeing the latest version.

Feature Update: In-App Camera Tools

Drivers now have manual controls in the Docket camera, including flash, zoom buttons, and better landscape mode support. Photo quality and resolution have also improved.

What Changed

  • Manually turn the flash on or off before taking a photo
  • Use on-screen zoom buttons to zoom in or out
  • Landscape mode photos are better supported
  • Images captured with the in-app camera have improved quality and resolution

Why It Matters
Drivers often take photos in low-light job sites or need to capture details from a distance. Without manual flash or zoom controls, getting a usable photo meant switching to their device's default camera. These tools keep that work in Docket.

Feature Update: Offline Connection Alert

The in-app alert that appears when a driver's phone loses internet now shows a clearer message and updated layout.

What Changed

  • The banner that appears during a lost connection has a new layout
  • The message text is more direct and easier to read at a glance

Why It Matters
Previously, drivers in areas with spotty service didn't always catch that their phone had gone offline. A clearer alert reduces the chance of a driver continuing to work without realizing their connection dropped.

Feature Update: Screen Header and Text Cleanup

Minor layout adjustments to screen headers and text alignment throughout the app make pages easier to read.

What Changed

  • Header and text alignment updated on multiple screens
  • Pages have a cleaner, more consistent appearance

Why It Matters
Small layout inconsistencies add up. These fixes make the app feel more polished and reduce visual clutter drivers have to sort through.

Fix

Camera Preview Appeared Zoomed In or Distorted: When taking a photo or reviewing it in dispatch, the preview screen showed the image slightly zoomed in or distorted. That's resolved. The preview now accurately reflects what was captured.
