7/7/26 - Stop Address Edit Scope, Ad-Hoc Stop Rescheduling, Route Tracker Date Navigation, Refreshed Route Optimization Preview, Fixes

These updates are available on July 7, 2026. Hard refresh your browser or update the Docket Mobile App to make sure you're seeing the latest version.

Feature Update: Choose Scope When Editing a Stop's Address

When you edit an address on a stop, Docket now asks whether the change should apply to just that stop or to every stop sharing that location.

Audience: Commercial and Residential Customers

What Changed

  • When you edit the address on a stop, Docket now asks whether the change should apply to just that stop or to every stop sharing that location.

Why It Matters
Previously, editing one stop's address could silently update every stop tied to that location, with no warning. Now you decide the scope before the change goes through.

Feature Update: Reschedule Ad-Hoc Stops from the Sidebar

Office users can now move an ad-hoc stop to a new date right from the stop's sidebar, no deleting or recreating required.

Audience: Commercial and Residential Customers

What Changed

  • You can now change the scheduled date of an ad-hoc stop directly from the stop's sidebar.
    • This applies to ad-hoc stops only. Recurring stops keep their existing scheduling behavior.

Why It Matters
Previously, moving an ad-hoc stop to a different day meant deleting it and creating a new one. Now you can update the date in place, without losing the stop.

Feature Update: Route Tracker Date Navigation

Route Tracker now has dedicated controls for stepping through dates and jumping to a route's next or previous scheduled day, without losing your place.

Audience: Commercial and Residential Customers

What Changed

  • New buttons next to the date picker let you step forward or back a day, or jump straight to a route's next or previous scheduled day.
  • Changing the date no longer switches you to a different route. If the route you're viewing isn't running that day, you'll see a "No scheduled run today." message instead.

Why It Matters
Previously, removing a stop from a future route caused it to lose its scheduled date entirely, making it appear in every day's Unassigned list. You had to manually find it and reassign the correct date. The stop now goes back exactly where you expect it.

Feature Update: Refreshed Route Optimization Preview

The route optimization preview has a cleaner layout, making it faster to review and act on a suggested route.

Audience: IronRouteAI Users (Pro Plus Plan)

What Changed

  • The route optimization preview has an updated layout, making the route list, map, and Apply/Deny actions easier to scan.
  • Stop ETAs are clearer
  • New score badges show up when you're reviewing a suggested route.

Why It Matters
Previously, reviewing a suggested route meant working through a busier layout to find timing and action buttons. The refreshed layout makes it faster to review and act on IronRouteAI's suggestions.

Fixes

Recurring Stops Showing "New" Label Past Their First 3 Visits: Established recurring stops were still showing the "New" label, and counting toward your new-stop total, well past their first three service visits, on both web and mobile, that's resolved. Recurring stops now drop the "New" label after their first three visits as expected.
