Feature Update: Billing Alert for Unit Size Mismatch

When a driver drops off a unit that doesn't match the size on the task, Docket now raises a billing alert before the invoice is finalized.

What Changed

  • If the unit dropped off is a different size than what the task specified, a "Billing Issues" alert appears automatically.
  • The alert flags the discrepancy so you can review and correct it before sending the invoice to your client.

Why It Matters

Unit size mismatches can lead to invoicing the wrong amount. Previously, those discrepancies could slip through to the invoice without any flag. This alert catches them at the right moment, before they become billing errors or client disputes.

Feature Update: Stop Cards Now Show Business or Client Name

Stop cards in Route Tracker and the Docket Mobile App now display the business name, or the client name if no business name is on file, as the primary label on every stop.

Audience: Commercial and Residential Customers

What Changed

  • Stop cards across the stop side deck, stop details page, mobile list, and map views now show the business or client name as the primary identifier.
  • The generic label "Primary Location" no longer appears on stop cards.
  • Existing stop names saved with a "- Primary" suffix will remain as-is. Going forward, stops will default to the business name, or the client name if no business name exists, without that suffix appended.

Why It Matters

Scanning a route by "Primary Location" labels made it harder to identify stops quickly. Your drivers and dispatchers now see the actual business or client name at a glance, which speeds up route scanning and reduces confusion in the field.

Fixes

Dispatch & Route Management

  • Fixed an issue where driver notes added to recurring route stops weren't appearing in the daily manifest, the Docket Mobile App, or on printed route sheets. Notes now carry over automatically to every scheduled occurrence.

Messaging

  • Fixed an issue where SMS message delivery status updates weren't being processed correctly. Message statuses will now update as expected.
