Docket Release 4/17/2025 - New Reports Beta, Contact Editing, Deposits for Estimates and Invoices

Lots of enhancements and some new features in our release this week! Read below to see what's changed

🥳 New Features

New Reports Beta (Now Available for All Customers)

  • A new Reports section is now live in Docket.
  • Includes significantly faster load times and a cleaner, easier-to-use layout.
  • Starts with our most popular reports — more are coming soon!

✨ Enhancements

Edit Client Contacts + Auto Refresh

  • You can now edit all client contacts—site contacts, secondary contacts, and more.
  • No need to create duplicates when updating contact info.
  • Contacts tab now auto-refreshes after edits—no need to manually reload the page.

Notification Log – Resend Message

  • Resend any message sent in the last 30 days from the Notification Log on the main page or within the client profile.
  • Update contact info or add more recipients before resending.
  • Great for fixing incorrect emails/phone numbers or bumping reminders back to the top of the inbox.

Junk Removal – Deposits for Estimates & Invoices

  • Add deposit amounts to junk removal estimates and invoices.
  • Payments made directly to the invoice will apply to the deposit.
  • Aimed at junk removal companies that collect upfront deposits.
  • More improvements to this feature are coming soon.

NOTE: Applying payment against the invoice directly will pay the deposit — there is no separate function for paying the deposit directly. This feature is still undergoing continued enhancement, and is primarily targeted at junk removal businesses that rely on deposits as a key part of their service workflow. Stay tuned for more improvements to this feature in the near future.

Junk Removal – Unique Terms in Online Booking

  • Set different Terms & Conditions for each online booking service:
    • Dumpster Terms
    • Rental Terms
    • General Terms

Data Import – Success and Fail Details

  • After an import, you'll now see:
    • Total records imported successfully
    • Records that failed, with error details
  • Helps you clean up and re-import faster.

🐛 Bug Fixes

  • Fixed invoices incorrectly marked as delivered when unsent.
  • Fixed issue preventing changes to Pricing Type assignments.
  • Resolved email delivery issues for some customer invoices.
  • Corrected rental overage billing calculations.
  • Fixed missing weight info in task history affecting billing.
  • Batch downloads now include all invoice pages—no more blanks.
  • Fixed a mobile app bug causing failed credit card transactions.
