Account Profile Overview

Your Account Profile page is the central hub for your Docket account. It gives you a snapshot of your business information, tracks your account setup progress, and puts your most-used settings one click away.

Before You Start

Here are a few things to know before you continue:

  • To learn how to update your profile information and upload your logo, click here.
  • Depending on your permissions, you may not be able to perform all of the functions listed in this article.

Navigate to Your Profile

To access your account's profile, just click on the Account tab from the left-hand navigation menu.

You'll land on the Profile tab by default. You'll also notice two additional tabs at the top of the page: Settings and Plan.

Profile Card

The profile card is at the top of the page and displays your core business information at a glance.

It shows your business name, verified status, the date your account was created, your employee count, your business address, and your contact information. Your logo also appears here once it's been uploaded.

You'll also see an "Edit Profile" button in the top right corner of the card. Clicking it opens your profile details so you can make updates to your business information or logo.

Account Checkup

The Account Checkup tracks your progress through the key setup steps for your Docket account. It's designed to help you make sure nothing important gets missed during setup.

The checkup uses a progress bar to show how many of the 13 items you've reviewed along with percentage completed:

  • 0 Reviewed: The bar shows a blue icon and reads "Let's set up your account · 0 of 13 reviewed."
  • In Progress: The bar turns yellow and reads "Account checkup in progress · X of 13 reviewed" along with a percentage.
  • All 13 Reviewed: The bar turns green and reads "Account checkup complete · 13 of 13” with the percentage displaying 100%.

Please Note: The Account Checkup tracks which items you've reviewed, not whether you've taken action on them. Opening an item and reviewing it is enough to count it toward your progress.

Click anywhere on the progress bar to expand it into a dropdown that lists all 13 checkup items.

The 13 checkup items are:

  1. Time Zone & Region Settings: Verify your account matches the region you operate in.
  2. Tax Rates: Set up tax rates used when billing for services.
  3. Pricing Templates: Define prices and servicing terms for each service type.
  4. Pricing Matrix: Set up location-based and tier-based pricing.
  5. Fees & Surcharges: Configure fuel surcharges and convenience fees on invoices.
  6. Hours of Operation: Set when customers can request service online.
  7. Document Templates: Service agreements, waivers, and BOL formatting.
  8. Integrations: Connect QuickBooks, Stripe, and other partner integrations.
  9. Notifications: Email and SMS templates for clients, contractors, and employees.
  10. Local Phone Number: Add a local phone number customers can text instead of your personal one.
  11. ReviewGuard: Bolster positive reviews and gather private feedback from customers.
  12. Team & Drivers: Review your plan's allocations for technicians and non-technician users.
  13. Additional Assets: Track additional dumpsters or equipment on your plan.

Status Widgets

Below the Account Checkup, you'll see three status widgets. Each one gives you a quick look at the current state of a key feature in your account.

Online Booking

This widget shows the status of your DocketShop online booking integration.

  • If online booking is active, the widget displays "Active" and clicking it takes you to your Integrations tab where you can review your DocketShop API Key and Account ID. To learn more about DocketShop, click here.
  • If online booking hasn't been set up yet, it will show "Not Integrated".

10DLC

10DLC (10-digit long code) is the phone number registration required to send SMS text messages to your clients through Docket.

  • If you haven't started registration yet, the widget displays "Not Started." Click the button to go to your Plan page, where you can begin the application.
  • Once registration is complete, the widget displays “Registered”. The button remains clickable and takes you to the same place if you need to revisit your SMS setup. For more on 10DLC registration, click here. For FAQs about 10DLC numbers, click here.

Plan

This widget shows which Docket plan your account is currently on.

  • If you're on the Pro Plus plan (our highest-tier plan), the widget displays "Active."
  • If you're on any other plan, the widget displays an "Upgrade" button that links to our pricing page at yourdocket.com/pricing, where you can review all available plans and connect with our sales team.

Setting Quick Links

The Settings Quick Links panel sits on the right side of your profile page. It gives you direct access to the eight most commonly used settings areas in Docket, so you don't have to dig through menus to get to them.

Clicking any quick link takes you directly to that settings page in the same tab. The eight quick links are:

  • Billing: Manage your billing configuration, invoice settings, and payment terms.
  • Manage Subscription: View and manage your Docket subscription.
  • Financial Notifications: Set up email and text notifications for invoices, estimates, and payments.
  • Region: Update your time zone, country, and regional preferences.
  • Business Hours: Set the hours your business operates.
  • Dumpster Management: Access your dumpster settings, including locations, task options, and scheduling.
  • Dumpster Pricing Matrix: Manage your pricing matrix for dumpster rentals.
  • Rental Management: Access your rental management settings.

Please Note: These quick links are the same for every Docket account. If you don't currently use a feature listed here, you can ignore that link.

Recent Team Activity

The Recent Team Activity panel sits below the Settings Quick Links on the right side of your profile page. It shows a running log of the most recent actions your team has taken in Docket, including task completions and other account activity.

This section is read-only. It's a quick way to see what your team has been up to without having to pull a report.
