October Enhancements & Fixes
Released 10/13/26
🤩 New Feature: Bulk Check Entry 🤩
Admins can now enter a batch of paper checks for multiple invoices in one session instead of applying payments one at a time.
What Changed
- Open Bulk Check Entry from Invoices → Actions → Bulk Check Entry.
- Search by invoice number or customer, then enter the check number and amount for each one.
- Review the full batch before posting it.
- A check can cover part of an invoice, and any extra amount gets added to the customer’s credit.
Why It Matters
Previously, you entered each check payment on its own invoice, one at a time. If you deposit a stack of paper checks at once, that meant repeating the same steps for every invoice. Bulk Check Entry lets you process the whole batch in one pass.
What to Do Next
Learn how to use it: Use Bulk Check Entry to Record Multiple Check Payments.
🤩 Workflow Change: AR Aging Report Now Shows Net Balance by Default 🤩
Accounts Receivable Aging and Accounts Receivable Aging (Net Balance) are now a single report, and it opens showing net balance by default.
What Changed
- Accounts Receivable Aging and Accounts Receivable Aging (Net Balance) are now one report.
- It opens as Net Balance, which includes invoices, credit memos, and open credits.
- To see invoices only, open All Filters and change Record Type.
- Set the As of Date to today to see current aging.
Why It Matters
Previously, you had to pick between two separate reports to see your aging balances, one with gross invoice totals and one netting out credits. Now there’s one report, and switching views is a filter instead of a separate report to find.
What to Do Next
If a total doesn’t match an export you ran before, check which of the two legacy reports you compared it to. The new report opens as Net Balance across all record types; invoices only is a filter under All Filters.

🤩 New Feature: Future Route Previews 🤩
Drivers using the Docket Mobile App can now preview their Commercial & Residential route on future dates before it’s confirmed.
Audience: Commercial and Residential Customers
What Changed
- Drivers can view their C&R route for upcoming dates, not just today’s.
- Future previews are labeled as not yet confirmed and are view-only.
- Once dispatch generates the manifest, the preview switches to the confirmed route.
Why It Matters
Previously, drivers could only see their route for the current day, with no way to look ahead. Future previews give drivers visibility into what’s coming while making clear the plan can still change before dispatch locks it in.

🐛 Bug Fixes 🐛
Tasks Disappearing After a Date Change in the Mobile App: Fixed an issue where changing a task’s date in the mobile app made it disappear from Dispatch and the driver app until it was updated a second time. Tasks now reflect date changes immediately.
Yard Counts Missing Category in the Driver App: Fixed an issue where yard counts in the driver app showed size only, not category, so an entry like “2 x 15 Yard” didn’t show whether it was Open Top or Closed Top. Yard counts now display both.
Offline Clients Not Showing Until Sync: Fixed an issue where clients created or edited offline in the mobile app didn’t show up or update until the device synced, and where creating a client could send you to the wrong screen afterward. Offline client changes and navigation now work as expected.
Client Name and Type Missing on Driver Tasks: Fixed an issue where drivers couldn’t see Client Name or Client Type on tasks, even with both turned on in Account Settings. Drivers now see this information on tasks as expected.
Failed Invoice Emails Showing a Blank Delivered Status: Fixed an issue where invoices that failed to send by email showed a blank Delivered column instead of “Failed,” which could make it look like an invoice went out when it never did. The Delivered column now correctly shows “Failed.”
Invoices Missing From the Billing Panel on Follow-Up Legs: Fixed an issue where invoices created on follow-up legs, like Exchanges, sometimes didn’t show up in the task’s Billing panel. These invoices now display correctly.
Incorrect Invoice Service Date: Fixed an issue where the invoice Service Date was wrong when the relevant setting was turned off. Invoices now use the task’s own date in that case.
Invoice History Showing “Unknown” for Edits After Online Payment: Fixed an issue where Invoice History showed “Unknown” instead of the employee’s name for an edit made after a customer paid through the payment link. Invoice History now shows the correct employee.
AR Aging (Net Balance) Including Later Credit Memos: Fixed an issue where the AR Aging (Net Balance) report included credit memos created after the report date. The report now only includes credit memos created on or before that date.
Province-Based Pricing Not Pulling Into Tasks for Canadian Teams: Fixed an issue where province-based pricing matrix prices didn’t pull into tasks for Canadian teams. These prices now pull in correctly.
“Rental Length Ending” Email Showing the Wrong Pickup Day: Fixed an issue where the “Rental Length Ending” email said pickup was tomorrow when the schedule showed it as today. The email now sends the day before the scheduled pickup.
New Online Order Emails Missing the Product Name: Fixed an issue where New Online Order notification emails left out the product name for matrix-priced items. These emails now include the product name.
Weekly C&R Stops Not Pre-Selecting Route Days: Fixed an issue where changing an existing C&R stop to weekly didn’t pre-select its route days. Route days now pre-select correctly.
Route Calendars Mixing Up Skipped and Actual Service Dates: Fixed an issue where C&R route calendars mixed up skipped and actual service dates on recurring stops. Calendars now show the correct dates for each.
Released 10/8/26
🤩 Feature Update: Support Chat Opens Faster 🤩
Docket now loads the support chat in the background, so it opens right away when you click Support.
What Changed
- Docket starts loading the support chat behind the scenes before you open it.
- The chat opens immediately when you click Support, instead of lagging on the first click.
- Nothing about how the chat looks or works has changed.
Why It Matters
Previously, clicking Support for the first time could cause a short lag while the chat loaded. That delay got in the way when you needed a quick answer.

🐛 Bug Fixes 🐛
New Employee Not Showing Up for Everyone: Fixed an issue where a newly added employee only appeared for the person who added them, then disappeared for everyone after a refresh, requiring the employee to be added again. New employees now show up correctly for all users right away.
Route Color Dot Not Matching Configuration: Fixed an issue where the color dot next to a route, in both the route header and the recurring routes list, didn’t match the color set in that route’s Configuration. The color dot now always matches your Configuration setting.
Released 10/6/26
🤩 New Feature: Dumpster Sales Report 🤩
The Dumpster Sales Report shows you how much dumpster business you've billed over any date range, broken down by product, geography, driver, dump location, or dumpster size.
What Changed
- One report now covers eight different sales breakdowns instead of running separate reports for each.
- Summary tiles at the top stay the same invoice totals no matter which view you pick, so you always have a steady baseline.
- The report searches by invoice date, not service date, and excludes voided invoices by default.
Why It Matters
Previously, getting a full picture of your dumpster sales meant pulling multiple reports and reconciling them yourself. Now it's one report with a dropdown.
What to Do Next
Read the full Dumpster Sales Report Overview for a walkthrough of all eight views and how to export or send the report.
🤩 New Feature: Recurring Route Performance Report 🤩
A new report that breaks down completion, issues, and failures across every stop on your recurring routes, so you can catch a problem before it costs you a client.
Audience: Commercial and Residential Customers
What Changed
- The report has four tabs: Overview, Issues, Failures, and Dataset. The row-level table you're used to now lives on the Dataset tab.
- Stops are tracked as Completed, Failed, Paused, or Not Started. Paused stops don't count toward completion or failure rates.
- Time zone defaults to Eastern, not your company's setting, so check the Filters panel if your numbers don't match what you see in the app.
Why It Matters
Previously, there wasn't a way to see trends and comparisons across your recurring routes over time, only what's happening today. This report gives you that history, along with a full exportable log behind every number.
What to Do Next
Read the full Recurring Route Performance Report Overview to see all four tabs and every filter in detail.
🐛 Bug Fixes 🐛
Our team kept squashing bugs this week. Here's what's fixed, across old backlog items and new catches.
QuickBooks Online
Canadian Invoice Tax Rounding: Fixed an issue where tax totals on multi-line Canadian invoices didn't match between Docket and QuickBooks. Docket now rounds tax line by line, the same way QuickBooks does.
Missing Sales Tax on QuickBooks Liability Report: Fixed an issue where some invoices synced to QuickBooks skipped QuickBooks' automatic sales tax, so state tax was missing from the sales tax liability report. Synced invoices now include the correct sales tax.
QuickBooks Sync Failed 500 Error: Fixed an issue where syncing any invoice to QuickBooks Online failed with a "Sync Failed 500" error, and resyncing QuickBooks settings failed with "We couldn't import your settings." Invoices and settings now sync correctly.
Billing & Invoices
Invoice Email "Failed" Status: Fixed an issue where an invoice email that was rejected at send time left the Delivered column blank. The column now shows "Failed," so you know to follow up.
Invoice Number Sorting: Fixed an issue where sorting by invoice number on the Invoices tab didn't sort in true numeric order, so invoice numbers over 10000 landed on the last page. Invoices now sort correctly.
Online Booking & DocketShop
Online Bookings Missing From Day-Filtered Reports: Fixed an issue where tasks booked online showed up in Dispatch and the driver app but didn't appear in reports filtered by day. These tasks now appear in both places.
Basic DocketShop Opening Premium Page: Fixed an issue where turning on a Basic DocketShop opened Online Booking to a Premium DocketShop page. Online Booking now opens to the correct page for your plan.
Wrong Category on Online Booking Tasks: Fixed an issue where tasks booked online came into Docket with the wrong category, for example "20 Yard" instead of "20 Yard RWD." Tasks now come in with the correct category.
Dispatch & Scheduling
Schedule, Dispatch, and Jobs Pages Not Loading: Fixed an issue where the Schedule, Dispatch, and Jobs pages wouldn't load for some accounts because of older job crew data. These pages now load correctly.
IronRouteAI Error on Deleted Yard: Fixed an issue where IronRouteAI failed with a generic error when a task pointed to a yard that had been deleted. IronRouteAI now handles these tasks without erroring.
Task History Showing "Unknown" User: Fixed an issue where tasks moved to a different date showed "Unknown" instead of the person who made the change. Task history now always shows the correct name.
Print All Schedules Missing Vehicle Assignment: Fixed an issue where Print All Schedules in Dispatch 2.0 left out each driver's assigned vehicle. Vehicle assignments now print correctly.
Admin Hold Employee Stuck on Dispatch Board: Fixed an issue where an employee on "Admin Hold" appeared on the Dispatch board for some franchise locations but not in their Employees list, so they couldn't be removed. These employees can now be removed as expected.
Customer Notifications
Rental Length Ending Notification Timing: Fixed an issue where the "Rental Length Ending" notification date didn't match the scheduled pickup date. The notice now goes out the day before the scheduled pickup.
"Day Before" Client Notifications Not Sending: Fixed an issue where "Day Before" client notifications weren't being sent. These notifications now send as expected.
Custom Reports
Removed Fields Reappearing on Custom Reports: Fixed an issue where printing or downloading a custom report brought back fields that had already been removed from the report. Removed fields no longer reappear.
Webhooks & Integrations
Webhook Credentials Not Sending: Fixed an issue where task and job completion webhooks set up with authentication didn't send their credentials, so the receiving system rejected every delivery. Credentials now send correctly with every delivery.
Released 10/1/26
🐛 Bug Fixes 🐛
Yesterday, our team spent the day on one thing: burning down bugs. Out of a larger backlog, 23 of the fixes customers and our support team feel most are shipping today, covering billing, payments, QuickBooks sync, dispatch, and more.
These updates are available on October 1, 2026. Hard refresh your browser or update the Docket Mobile App to v4.7 to make sure you're seeing the latest version.
Billing & Invoices
Invoice PDF Layout: Fixed layout issues in invoice PDFs where the Terms & Conditions could separate from its heading, font sizes were inconsistent, and page breaks fell in odd places. Invoices now have consistent formatting, and you can choose to start Terms & Conditions on a new page.
Invoice Rounding: Fixed an issue where invoice totals could be off by a cent due to incorrect rounding at the third decimal place. Totals now calculate correctly.
Invoice History Showing "Unknown": Fixed an issue where an invoice's History tab showed "Unknown" instead of the employee's name for edits made after a client paid online. The correct employee name now appears for these edits.
Recurring Invoices Filter Total: Fixed an issue where the total at the top of the Recurring Invoices page showed every recurring invoice when filtering by both "Paused" and "Completed," instead of just the filtered results. The total now reflects only what's filtered.
Deleted Estimate Crash: Fixed an issue where clicking a deleted estimate crashed the page. You can now click a deleted estimate without issue.
Payments
Rejected ACH Payments: Fixed an issue where a rejected ACH payment showed up as a negative amount on the invoice, doubling the balance due. Rejected ACH payments now reflect the correct balance.
Saved Card Errors for Fiserv Customers: Fixed a "Profile not found" error that occurred when charging a saved card for some Fiserv (CardPointe) clients. Docket now recovers automatically when a saved card profile no longer exists on the processor's side, so you don't have to key payments in manually.
QuickBooks Online
QuickBooks GST/HST Sync Errors: Fixed an issue where QuickBooks rejected invoices from Canadian companies with a "GST/HST rate" error whenever the invoice included a non-taxable line, such as a card processing fee. These invoices now sync without error.
QuickBooks Sync Warning: Fixed an issue where an invoice kept showing a "QuickBooks sync failed" warning even after it had already synced successfully. The warning no longer appears once an invoice syncs.
Dispatch, Scheduling, & Mobile
Driver App Tasks Not Appearing in Dispatch: Fixed an issue where tasks created in the Docket Mobile App, or moved to a new date there, didn't appear in Dispatch or on the driver's day list until someone re-saved them from the Schedule page. These tasks now show up right away.
Recurring Task Deletion Removing Completed History: Fixed an issue where choosing "delete this and all following" on an unscheduled recurring task deleted every task in the series, including completed ones. Completed task history is now kept.
Task Dates Showing Wrong Day: Fixed an issue where tasks showed the day before their scheduled date when your computer was set to a different time zone than the account. Task dates now follow the account's time zone.
Duplicate Task Permissions Error: Fixed a permissions error that kept users from duplicating a task. You can now duplicate tasks without issue.
Tons Not Carrying Over on Exchanges: Fixed an issue where scheduling an exchange from an existing task didn't carry over the tons included on the original task. Tons now carry over correctly.
Canada Pricing Matrices Not Applying: Fixed an issue where province-based pricing matrices weren't applied when scheduling for accounts set to Canada. Pricing now applies correctly for these accounts.
Yard Count Breakdown in Driver App: Fixed an issue where yard counts in the Docket Mobile App no longer broke down by category. Category breakdowns are back.
Commercial and Residential Recurring Stop Schedules: Fixed an issue where editing a Commercial and Residential recurring stop's schedule didn't fill in the selected weekdays, so occurrences didn't populate. Weekdays now populate correctly when editing these schedules.
Online Booking
Storefront Switching on Website Scripts: Fixed an issue where switching storefronts on the Website Scripts page didn't update the direct booking URL. The link now points to the selected storefront and opens that storefront's landing page.
Missing Product Names in Booking Emails: Fixed an issue where online order notification emails left out product names. Product names now appear in these emails.
Texting, Sign-In & Jobs
Texts Sent From the Wrong Number: Fixed an issue where texts for some companies on the older texting setup came from random numbers instead of the company's own local number. Texts now send from your company's number.
Password Reset Rejections: Fixed an issue where a new password that passed every on-screen requirement was still rejected when saved. This affected both admin password resets and self-service resets. Passwords that meet the requirements now save correctly.
Broken Job Photo File Extensions: Fixed an issue where job photos saved from Additional Notes came down with a broken file extension and wouldn't open. These photos now open correctly.
September Enhancements
Released the week of 9/21/26 👇
Project Name Pricing
Project Name Pricing lets you set different prices for different service addresses under the same client, without creating a separate client for every location.
Project Name pricing is rolling out in phases. If you don't see it in your Docket account yet, you will soon.
Audience: Accounts using Client-level Pricing Matrices
What Changed
- Assign a Project Name to any service address, either from a client's profile, when adding a new service address, or while scheduling a task.
- Add Project Name as a variable in a client's pricing matrix so Docket applies the right price automatically based on the task's service address.
- Export and import Project Name values through your pricing matrix's Excel or CSV file.
Why It Matters
Previously, clients with multiple locations or site-specific pricing agreements meant either creating duplicate client profiles or manually adjusting prices on every task. Project Name lets Docket handle that automatically once it's set up.

Filter Invoices by Sent Status
The Invoices page can now be filtered to show only sent or only unsent invoices.
What Changed
- A new filter option on the Invoices page lets you narrow the list to sent or unsent invoices.
Why It Matters
Previously, billing teams had to scan the full invoices list to spot what hadn't gone out yet, which made it easy for an unsent invoice to sit unnoticed.
New to Sending Invoices?

Franchise Zip Code Check Setting
The franchise territory zip code check can now be turned on or off per account instead of always being on.
Audience: Franchise Accounts
What Changed
- Franchises can now enable or disable the check that blocks task creation in another franchise's zip codes.
- When enabled, the check still warns on unclaimed zips, same as before.
Why It Matters
Previously, this check applied to every franchise account with no way to adjust it, even when a business needed more flexibility in how territory boundaries were enforced.
More Balanced IronRouteAI Routes
Audience: IronRouteAI Users (Pro Plus Plan)
What Changed
- IronRoute keeps refining a route after the first pass instead of stopping there.
- Each route gets its own length limit instead of one fixed limit applied across your whole fleet.
- Routes can cost slightly more than the cheapest possible plan when that meaningfully evens out driver workloads. In practice, this rarely adds much cost.
Why It Matters
Previously, IronRoute optimized once and applied a single length limit to every driver, which could leave some routes short and others overloaded. Routes now balance driver workloads more evenly without you doing anything differently.

Contact Info Required for New Clients via Create Stop
Audience: Commercial and Residential Customers
What Changed
- Creating a new client through Create Stop → New Client now requires a phone number or email.
- You'll see a specific error message if you try to save without one.
- This matches the requirement already in place on the standalone Add Client flow.
Why It Matters
Previously, clients created this way could be saved with no way to reach them. That left some clients unreachable later, including for customer portal login. Every new client now has at least one way to get in touch, no matter how they were added.
New to Adding Clients?
Learn more about adding clients in Docket: Add Clients Overview
Start Time and Yard Required on Recurring Routes
Audience: Commercial and Residential Customers
What Changed
- Recurring Route Templates now require a Start Time and Start/End Yard before you can save.
- If your account has a primary yard, Start and End Yard auto-fill with it. You can still change the selection if you have other yards.
- If you don't have any yards set up yet, you'll see a prompt to add one without leaving route creation.
- This applies whether you're creating a new route template or editing an existing one.
Why It Matters
Previously, Start Time and Yard were optional fields added as groundwork in an earlier release. They're now required so Docket can calculate accurate distance and time values for upcoming route optimization features.

Split Exchange Weight Overage Billing
What Changed
- Exchange tasks now calculate weight overages using the pick-up side's weight allowance and cost per ton, not the drop-off side's.
- The pick-up side reflects the dumpster being collected, since that's the container with waste in it.
- This applies going forward only. Past exchange tasks aren't reprocessed.
Why It Matters
Previously, Docket calculated weight overages using the drop-off side's weight allowance instead of the pick-up side's. That let clients avoid overage charges they actually owed, and the difference came out of your bottom line without you knowing it.
Want to learn more?
Check out our Help Center article: Exchange Tasks and Split Weight Allowances Overview and FAQs.
Line Items Default to a Task's Date
What Changed
- New line items added to a task now default to that task's scheduled date instead of today's date.
- This applies to future-dated tasks, so you no longer need to manually correct the date on each line item.
Why It Matters
Previously, line items added to a future-dated task defaulted to today's date. That meant an extra manual correction every time, and an easy one to miss.
Past and Future Completes Land on Today's Schedule
Audience: Drivers using the Docket Mobile App
What Changed
- Completing a task that was scheduled for a different day now moves it onto today's schedule right away.
Why It Matters
Previously, completing a task scheduled for a different day made it disappear from both the original day and today, with no record of it on either. Now it lands where you completed it.
Released the week of 9/7/26 👇
Jobs Report
Reports now includes a single Jobs Report that brings your Scheduled, Scheduled by Employee, Canceled, and Deleted jobs together in one place.
What Changed
- Reports now includes a Jobs Report combining what used to live in separate reports: Scheduled Jobs, Scheduled Jobs by Employee, Canceled Jobs, and Deleted Jobs.
- Employee assignment now lives on the Scheduled table instead of its own separate report.
- Scheduled always reflects your live calendar. Once a job is canceled or deleted, it moves off Scheduled and into its own tab.
- This report is now available to everyone with Reports access, including accounts that didn't have a Jobs report before.
Why It Matters
Previously, this job data lived in separate Work Reports, and a job that was later canceled or deleted could still show up on your Scheduled list. Now Scheduled always matches your live calendar, so what you see there reflects what's actually still active.

September Bug Fixes
Released the week of 9/28/26 👇
Vehicle Photo Uploads Failing With Red X: Fixed an issue where photos, including JPEGs, wouldn't upload to a vehicle's Docket Board and showed a red X in place of the image. Photos now upload and display as expected.
Missing Employee Tasks on Calendars: Fixed an issue where tasks assigned to a franchise-only employee or a deactivated employee disappeared from the Schedule and Dispatch calendars. These tasks now appear again, showing in the Unassigned lane when the assignee has no lane of their own. This mainly affected franchise and linked accounts, and some tasks had been missing since 2023.
Released the week of 9/21/26 👇
Recurring Stops Page Crash With No-Customer Stops: Fixed an issue where a single recurring stop with no customer attached could crash the entire Recurring Stops page. Those stops now show a blank Customer cell, and the rest of the page loads normally.
Employee Photos Breaking Dispatch, Today, and Assets Pages: Fixed an issue where an employee with a blank profile picture could break the Dispatch, Today, and Assets pages. These pages now load correctly regardless of whether a profile picture is set.
Employees Stuck After Moving Off No Access: Fixed an issue where employees moved to No Access couldn't be moved back to an active role. You can now move an employee from No Access back to any active role.
First-Login Passwords Strengthened for PCI Compliance: Fixed an issue where newly generated first-login passwords didn't meet the updated PCI DSS 4.0.1 requirements. New accounts now start off more secure.
Online Booking Storefront Editing After Re-Enrollment: Fixed an issue where, after re-enrolling on a new Docket account, the Online Booking storefront admin could still edit and publish the old, cancelled account's storefront instead of the new one. Storefront edits now apply to your current account.
App Crashing When Viewing C&R Routes With a Failed or Flagged Stop: Fixed an issue where opening a C&R route with a failed stop or a stop with a logged issue could crash the Docket Mobile App, and reopening the route crashed it again. You can now open these routes without the app crashing.
Released the week of 9/14/26 👇
Blank Screen After a Release: Fixed an issue where the app could show a blank white screen right after a Docket release, requiring a manual refresh to clear. The app now loads correctly after a release with no refresh needed.
Tax Applied to Promo and Discount Amounts: Fixed an issue where tax was applied to promo and discount amounts on Online Booking orders, causing invoice totals to not match what clients paid. Tax now calculates correctly on discounted Online Booking orders.
Fuel Surcharge Mileage on Ferry Routes: Fixed an issue where the distance-based fuel surcharge under-reported mileage on routes that cross a ferry, causing the surcharge to be under-charged or missed entirely. Ferry route mileage now calculates accurately.
Online Booking Time Window Cutoff: Fixed an issue where Online Booking orders with a selected time window only carried the start time into Docket instead of the full window. The full time window now carries over correctly.
Password Strength Rules on Employee Admin Resets: Fixed an issue where Employee Admin password resets didn't enforce required password strength rules (12+ characters, upper and lowercase, a number, and a special character). Resets now require a compliant password.
Password Strength Rules on Invite Signup: Fixed an issue where the invite signup password step didn't enforce the same password strength rules as Employee Admin resets. New teammates now set up their accounts with a compliant password.
Billing History Disappearing After Multi-Invoice Payment: Fixed an issue where paying multiple invoices at once could make a client's billing history disappear until the client record was reopened. Billing history now displays correctly right after payment.
Dumpster Board Failing to Load on the Vehicle Page: Fixed an issue where the dumpster board on the vehicle page failed to load and showed an error for all vehicles. The dumpster board now loads correctly.
Yard Routing for Drivers: Fixed an issue where the app asked drivers to pick a yard location instead of routing them to the yard the dispatcher had already assigned. Drivers are now routed to the assigned yard automatically.
Task History Attribution: Fixed an issue where task changes made in the mobile app showed up in task history as made by "Unknown" instead of the actual user. Task history now shows the correct user.
Driver PIN Not Saving to the Task: Fixed an issue where the PIN entered when completing a service task in the mobile app wasn't saving to the task in Docket. PINs now save as expected.
Container PIN After Relinking: Fixed an issue where the driver app kept asking for the PIN of a container's old task link instead of the newly linked one after dispatch relinked a task. The app now asks for the correct PIN after relinking.
Released the week of 9/7/26 👇
Exchange Pickup Leg Showing as a Drop Off: Fixed an issue where completing the pickup leg of an Exchange in the mobile app labeled it "(Drop Off)" in Assets → History, so both halves of the exchange looked like drop-offs. Exchange history now shows each leg correctly.
Driver PIN Not Saving to the Task: Fixed an issue where a PIN entered by a driver on a mobile service task wasn't carrying over to the matching task in Docket. PINs now save as expected.
Invoice Showing on Every Leg of a Multi-Leg Rental: Resolved an issue where invoicing one leg of a multi-leg rental caused that invoice to appear on every other leg in the container, and hid the "needs invoice" flag on legs without their own invoice. Invoices and billing flags now stay accurate to each leg.
Deposit Missing From Estimate PDF on the Client Portal: Fixed an issue where deposit amounts didn't appear on estimates viewed or downloaded as a PDF from the client portal, even though they showed correctly from the Docket account. Deposit amounts now display consistently in both places.
Feedback Box Hidden Behind the Map in IronRouteAI: Resolved an issue where the feedback text box in the IronRouteAI Optimization Preview's "Don't Apply" flow rendered behind the map and couldn't be used. The feedback box now works as expected.
August Enhancements
Released the week of 8/31/26 👇
Pay This Invoice Auto-Saves Cards
When your account has Save Card on File turned on and Client Has Option to Save Card on File turned off, a card entered while a client pays through the "Pay This Invoice" email link now saves automatically for future payments, matching how the Client Dashboard already works. To learn more about these settings, please review the following article Billing Settings: Invoice.
What Changed
- A card entered while paying through the Pay This Invoice link now saves to the client's profile automatically, with no toggle to turn on.
- The confirmation screen shows the card was saved.
- The saved card shows up on Cards on File with the last four digits and expiration date, so you can charge it later.
- This flow still doesn't give clients access to previously saved payment methods. Only the new auto-save applies.
- Accounts with Client Has Option to Save Card on File turned on keep today's toggle.
- ACH payments are never saved automatically.
Why It Matters
Previously, a client paying through the Pay This Invoice link had no way to save their card, even on accounts already set up to auto-save everywhere else. That meant your team sometimes had to collect the same card again on the next invoice. Now this flow behaves the same way the Client Dashboard already does.

Driver Reassignment Locked in the Mid-Day Preview
The driver selector is now locked while you're reviewing a mid-day reoptimization preview.
Audience: IronRouteAI Users (Pro Plus Plan)
What Changed
- The driver selector is disabled inside the mid-day reoptimization preview.
- This prevents applying a proposal that was built against a driver set that's since changed.
- Reassignment in normal planning mode is unaffected.
Why It Matters
Previously, you could reassign drivers while reviewing a mid-day reoptimization preview, even if the driver set had changed since the preview was generated. That could result in applying a plan built for the wrong drivers. Locking the selector during preview keeps the proposal tied to the driver set it was actually built against.

Start and End Yards on Recurring Routes
Recurring route templates now support optional Start Yard and End Yard fields.
Audience: Commercial and Residential Customers
What Changed
- Recurring route templates now include optional Start Yard and End Yard fields.
- Both fields pull from your existing yards list, the same list shown on the Route Tracker map.
- Choosing a start yard defaults the end yard to match, and you can still edit it separately.
- These fields aren't yet visible on the Docket Mobile App or the Route Tracker page. This is groundwork for future feature releases.
Why It Matters
Setting these now means your routes will be ready as new features roll out that make use of them.

IronRouteAI Updates
IronRouteAI got a set of updates to task priority handling and overall route quality.
Audience: IronRouteAI Users (Pro Plus Plan)
What Changed
- High priority tasks are now a hard constraint. IronRouteAI assigns them first, before any other task, across your drivers.
- Medium priority tasks now target placement within the first 25% of the day.
- Low priority tasks are unchanged. They still get a light nudge toward later in the day, not a hard rule.
- Routes are now more consistent whether your max route time is set to 8, 10, 12, or 14 hours.
- Routes covering a large geography now make more geographic sense overall.
- Route cost calculations are more accurate, improving overall route quality.
Why It Matters
Previously, priority was more of a suggestion IronRouteAI weighed alongside other factors, and route quality could vary depending on your max route time setting or how spread out your stops were. Now high-priority tasks get placed first every time, and the routes IronRouteAI builds better reflect what actually makes sense for your day.

Activity Editor Updates
The activity editor for Commercial and Residential stops now opens ready for input.
Audience: Commercial and Residential Customers
What Changed
- The activity editor now opens expanded and ready for input, rather than collapsed and showing an error.
- If every activity on a stop is deleted, the editor automatically reopens a blank entry.
Why It Matters
Previously, the editor could open collapsed with an error, or leave you with zero activities and a closed editor if you deleted them all. You're never left stuck without a way to add an activity.
Outdated Training Videos Removed
The training video section was outdated and has been removed. This content is now available on the Learning Hub and Help Center.

More Accurate Offline Warnings
Docket now shows "you're offline" warnings only when your device is actually offline.
Audience: Drivers using the Docket Mobile App
What Changed
- Offline warnings on form images, like estimates, no longer appear if you have a working connection.
- Address search when scheduling a task now reflects your real connection status.
- Warnings clear automatically as soon as your connection is restored.
Why It Matters
Previously, a driver with a working connection could still hit a false "you're offline" warning while attaching a photo to an estimate or searching for an address, blocking the task for no real reason. Now the warning only shows up when it's accurate, so you're not second-guessing a good connection.
August Bug Fixes
Released the week of 8/31/26 👇
Dumpsters.com Integration Stuck on Loading After Entering Partner ID: Entering a Partner ID during the Dumpsters.com integration setup could leave the screen stuck on "loading" with an authentication error, that's resolved. The Partner ID step now completes as expected.
Weight Overage Billing Issues Not Appearing on Broker-Accepted Tasks: Tasks accepted through the broker network weren't saving the weight allowance and cost per ton needed to catch overages, so weight-overage billing issues never appeared, even though the weight ticket showed the correct terms, that's resolved. Billing issues for weight overages now appear as expected on broker-accepted tasks.
Role Permissions Not Enforced for Asset Creation, Charge Creation, and Reports Access: Turning off the "Can Create Asset," "Can Create Charge," or Reports webpage permissions for a role didn't actually restrict access, that's resolved. If your account has these permissions turned off for a role, that role will now see the restriction take effect for the first time.
Released the week of 8/24/26 👇
Mobile App Changes Logged as "Unknown" in Task History
Changes made to a task from the mobile app were showing up in Docket's task history as "Unknown" instead of the name of the person who made them, that's resolved. Task history now correctly attributes mobile changes to the user who made them.
Dumpster Pricing Matrix Not Showing Data for Sub-Account Users: Sub-account users opening the dumpster pricing matrix saw no pricing data at all, that's resolved. Sub-account users now see pricing data as expected.
Automatic Service Charges Not Saving to the Bill: A dumpster job's automatic service charge could silently fail to save to the client's bill with no error shown anywhere, that's resolved. Failures are now logged and visible so they can be caught and corrected.
Route Selection Overwriting a Chosen Stop Date: Choosing a start date for a new Commercial and Residential stop, then selecting a route, silently overwrote the date you had picked, that's resolved. Your selected date now stays put.
Message Records Displaying Incorrectly: Some stored message records didn't match their expected format, which could cause message data to display incorrectly, that's resolved.
Released the week of 8/17/26 👇
Job Status Mismatch on the Driver Schedule: Resolved an issue where editing a job from the Driver Schedule showed the wrong status, with En Route appearing as In Progress and In Progress appearing as Failed.
Missing Company Name on Mobile Task Cards: Corrected an issue where the company or account holder name did not appear on task cards in the mobile app, leaving drivers with only the contact name to reference.
Released the week of 8/3/26 👇
Portal Link Opening the Wrong Client Dashboard: If a client clicked a portal link while already logged into a different company's Client Dashboard, they could land on the wrong dashboard, that's resolved. Portal links now route back to log-in when they lead to a different company than the one the client is currently signed into.
Invoice Filter Turning Blank on Client Dashboard: Selecting All Invoices, Paid, or Unpaid on the Client Dashboard could cause the selector to turn blank white, that's resolved. The selector now displays correctly no matter which option is chosen.
Missing ACH Payment Option on Client Dashboard: Clients with no card on file, or with ACH already saved, only saw the option to add a card when paying an invoice, that's resolved. ACH now shows as a payment option in both cases.
Previous Task Images Not Viewable During Pickup, Exchange, or Dump and Return Tasks: Drivers couldn't view images from a previous drop-off task while completing a Pickup, Exchange, or Dump and Return task, that's resolved. Drivers can now view those images as expected.
July Enhancements
Released the week of 7/27/26 👇
Grid View for Task Photos and Client & Job Notes
Photos on tasks, plus client and job notes, now display in a grid in the Docket Mobile App so you can see more at once.
What Changed
- Photos on tasks, and client and job notes, now display in a grid layout instead of a single-file strip.
- Weight tickets and other areas with limited space still use the compact strip view.
Why It Matters
Previously, reviewing photos or notes meant scrolling through them one at a time to see everything attached to a task. The grid view lets you scan more at once, so checking a stop's history in the field takes less time.
Faster Bluetooth Card Reader Settings
The Bluetooth Card Reader section in Settings now loads without delay when you open the settings tab in the Docket Mobile App.
Recurring Routes Track Material Type and Expected Start Time
The Recurring Routes list now shows each route's material type at a glance, and dispatchers can set an expected start time for when a route should leave the yard.
Audience: Commercial and Residential Customers
What Changed
- The Recurring Routes list now displays each route's material type(s).
- Dispatchers can optionally set an expected start time for when a route should leave the yard.
Why It Matters
Previously, checking a route's material type or planned start time meant opening the route itself. Now that information is visible right in the list, so you can find the route you need without the extra clicks.

Past Due Status Now Visible on Invoices
Overdue invoices now show a clear "Past due" badge and red balance-due styling, both on the client-facing invoice and in your Admin invoice view.
What Changed
- Invoices with a balance still owed after the due date now display a "Past due" badge.
- The balance-due amount appears in red styling on both the client view and the Admin invoice view.
Why It Matters
Previously, spotting overdue invoices meant scanning dates or checking status filters manually. Now the badge and styling make past-due invoices stand out at a glance, for you and for your clients.
Released the week of 7/20/26 👇
Failed Stop Reasons Now Visible Everywhere
Dispatchers and Admins can now see why a stop failed directly on the stop card tooltip, in the stop side deck, and on the stop details page.
Audience: Commercial and Residential Customers
What Changed
- The failure reason (like bins not out or blocked access) now appears on the stop card tooltip.
- The same reason shows in the stop side deck.
- It also appears on the stop details page.
Why It Matters
Previously, finding out why a stop failed meant digging through multiple screens. Now the reason is right where you're already looking.

Consistent Client Info Required When Creating Clients Inline
When a Dispatcher adds a new client directly from the stop creation flow, they now have to provide a client type and at least one way to reach the client.
Audience: Commercial and Residential Customers
What Changed
- Adding a client during stop creation now requires a client type.
- You also need to provide a phone number or email for that client.
- This matches the requirements already in place on the standalone client creation flow.
Why It Matters
Previously, clients added this way could be saved with no contact info on file at all. That made it hard to reach them later. Now every client has at least one way to get in touch, no matter how they were added.
New to Adding Clients?
Learn more about adding clients in Docket: Add Clients Individually and Import Clients in Bulk.
"Sub-Categories" Renamed to "Tags"
The "Sub-Categories" label for asset descriptors now reads "Tags" everywhere it appears.
Audience: Commercial and Residential Customers
What Changed
- "Sub-Categories" is now labeled "Tags" in list columns, detail views, and filters.
- No functionality changed, only the label.
Why It Matters
"Sub-Categories" didn't match the terminology Docket already uses elsewhere. "Tags" is now consistent across the platform.
Client Dashboard Login Verification and Saved Payment Methods
Clients now verify their identity with a one-time link and code the first time they access their Client Dashboard from a new device, and can save a payment method for faster checkout going forward.
Audience: Docket Accounts with Updated Client Dashboard Security (Phased Rollout)
Verification Code |
Save Payment Method |
|---|---|
What Changed
- The first time a client opens their Client Dashboard on a new device, they verify their identity with a one-time link and code sent by email or text.
- Once verified on that device, the client won't need to sign in again unless they clear their browser history.
- Verifying identity also unlocks saved payment methods, so clients can save a card or bank account for faster payment on future invoices.
- This is rolling out in phases: live for the first 187 accounts today, with additional accounts following on 7/23, 7/27, and 7/30.
Why It Matters
Previously, clients didn't have a device-level verification step, and saved payment methods weren't available on the Client Dashboard. Clients had to re-enter payment details every time they paid an invoice. Now, returning clients skip repeated sign-ins, and paying is faster the next time around.
New to the Client Dashboard?
Learn more about the Client Dashboard in Docket: Use Your Client Dashboard.
Route Projections Default View
Route projections in Route Tracker now show only the stops actually running that day by default, with a toggle to bring non-active stops back into view.
Audience: Commercial and Residential Customers
What Changed
- Route projections now default to showing only stops actually running that day.
- A toggle lets you bring non-active stops back into view when you need them.
- Stop numbering updates automatically to match whichever view is active.
Why It Matters
Previously, route projections showed every stop, active or not, making it harder to tell at a glance what was really running that day. The new default keeps the focus on active stops, and non-active stops stay one click away when you need them.

Consistent Failed Stop Styling and Route Tracker Refresh
Failed stops now show the same red status across the stop card, side deck, and stop details page, and Route Tracker has refreshed spacing and status pill styling.
Audience: Commercial and Residential Customers
What Changed
- Failed status displays consistently across stop cards, the side deck, and stop details
- Route Tracker rows have updated spacing
- Status pills for In Progress, Completed, and Paused/Skipped have a refreshed look
- Manifest chips on Route Tracker match the updated styling
Why It Matters
Previously, a failed stop could look different depending on where you viewed it, which made it harder to spot at a glance. The consistent styling makes failed stops easier to recognize no matter where you're looking.

Ad Hoc Stops Now Default to the Top of the Route List
Newly added ad hoc stops now appear at the top of the route's stop list, so dispatchers can spot and triage them right away.
Audience: Commercial and Residential Customers
What Changed
- Newly added ad hoc stops now appear at the top of the route's stop list instead of the bottom.
- Stops can still be manually reordered afterward.
Why It Matters
Previously, ad hoc stops landed at the bottom of the list, making them easy to miss on longer routes. Now they show up right away so you can review and act on them without scrolling.
Choose Scope When Editing a Stop's Address
When you edit an address on a stop, Docket now asks whether the change should apply to just that stop or to every stop sharing that location.
Audience: Commercial and Residential Customers
What Changed
- When you edit the address on a stop, Docket now asks whether the change should apply to just that stop or to every stop sharing that location.
Why It Matters
Previously, editing one stop's address could silently update every stop tied to that location, with no warning. Now you decide the scope before the change goes through.
Reschedule Ad-Hoc Stops from the Sidebar
Office users can now move an ad-hoc stop to a new date right from the stop's sidebar, no deleting or recreating required.
Audience: Commercial and Residential Customers
What Changed
- You can now change the scheduled date of an ad-hoc stop directly from the stop's sidebar.
- This applies to ad-hoc stops only. Recurring stops keep their existing scheduling behavior.
Why It Matters
Previously, moving an ad-hoc stop to a different day meant deleting it and creating a new one. Now you can update the date in place, without losing the stop.
Route Tracker Date Navigation
Route Tracker now has dedicated controls for stepping through dates and jumping to a route's next or previous scheduled day, without losing your place.
Audience: Commercial and Residential Customers
What Changed
- New buttons next to the date picker let you step forward or back a day, or jump straight to a route's next or previous scheduled day.
- Changing the date no longer switches you to a different route. If the route you're viewing isn't running that day, you'll see a "No scheduled run today." message instead.
Why It Matters
Previously, removing a stop from a future route caused it to lose its scheduled date entirely, making it appear in every day's Unassigned list. You had to manually find it and reassign the correct date. The stop now goes back exactly where you expect it.
Feature Update: Refreshed Route Optimization Preview
The route optimization preview has a cleaner layout, making it faster to review and act on a suggested route.
Audience: IronRouteAI Users (Pro Plus Plan)
What Changed
- The route optimization preview has an updated layout, making the route list, map, and Apply/Deny actions easier to scan.
- Stop ETAs are clearer
- New score badges show up when you're reviewing a suggested route.
Why It Matters
Previously, reviewing a suggested route meant working through a busier layout to find timing and action buttons. The refreshed layout makes it faster to review and act on IronRouteAI's suggestions.
July Bug Fixes
Released the week of 7/27/26 👇
Invoice, Estimate, and Note Tabs Appearing Empty: Invoice, estimate, and note tabs sometimes appeared empty the first time you logged in, that's resolved. These tabs now load correctly on first login.
Create PIN Not Working for Some Driver Roles: Drivers with the Mobile Access role couldn't create new PINs during dumpster tasks like Drop Off, Live Load, Dump & Return, Relocate, or Service, even with "Allow Create PIN" enabled, that's resolved. Create PIN now works for all driver roles when the setting is on.
Deleted Stops Still Appearing on Route Tracker: Deleted stops kept showing up on the Route Tracker and mobile app, forcing drivers to mark them as failed and skewing route completion data, that's resolved. Deleted stops no longer appear.
Biweekly Recurring Stops Showing as Paused: Biweekly recurring stops in the Route Tracker could incorrectly show as paused on days they were actually scheduled to run, that's resolved. Stops now show their correct status every time.
Route Tracker Map Auto-Zoom: The Route Tracker map wasn't automatically zooming to show all of a route's stops when the page loaded or when you switched routes or dates, that's resolved. You can also click a new button to manually re-center the map on a route's stops anytime you need to.
ACH Payment Rejections Not Reflected on Invoices: An invoice could stay marked as paid even after a client's bank rejected the ACH payment after it had already been funded, that's resolved. Docket now catches these delayed rejections so invoice status stays accurate.
Released the week of 7/20/26 👇
Hidden Formatting Code Showing Up in Billing Template Descriptions: Fixed an issue where copying a description into a billing template could pull in hidden formatting code; when that template was used to create a charge, the raw code showed up instead of the clean description.
Recurring Stop Appearing Early on Route Tracker: Fixed an issue where a recurring stop with a future start date was showing up on the Route Tracker days before it was scheduled to run, that's resolved. The Route Tracker now only shows a stop once it's actually running.
Contractor Text Notifications Missing Hauler Dashboard Link: Fixed an issue where Contractor text notifications weren't including the Hauler Dashboard link, even though the email version did, that's resolved. Text notifications now include the link too.
Client Record Merges Getting Stuck: Fixed an issue where merging two client records could get stuck and never finish, leaving both records in the system, that's resolved. Client record merges now complete as expected.
Wrong Task Opening After Turn-by-Turn Navigation: Fixed an issue where selecting "On My Way" and then using turn-by-turn navigation could cause a different task to open when you returned to the app, that's resolved. You'll now land back on the correct task.
Updated Task Address Reverting After "On My Way": Fixed an issue where an updated task address would revert to the previous address once you marked the task as "On My Way," that's resolved. Your updated address now sticks.
Offline Tasks Reverting to "Open" Status: Fixed an issue where tasks completed while offline moved back to "Open" status once your device reconnected, even though your photos, notes, and PIN entries were still saved, that's resolved. Completed offline tasks now stay marked complete after reconnecting.
Incorrect Photo Capture Time for Library Photos: Fixed an issue where photos uploaded from your photo library, rather than taken directly in the app, showed a "Captured At" time off by several hours due to a timezone conversion error, that's resolved. Library photos now show the correct capture time.
Released the week of 7/13/26 👇
Stop Start Date Reset When Picking a Route: Fixed an issue where selecting a route while creating a new stop reset the start date you'd already chosen back to today, that's resolved. The date you pick now stays in place no matter which route you select.
Invoice Marked Paid Despite a Balance Still Owed: Fixed an issue where a payment landing a penny short of the invoice total showed your profile balance as zero even though Accounts Receivable still showed money owed, that's resolved. Your profile balance and AR now stay in sync.
Incomplete Address Saved for New Clients: Fixed an issue where creating a stop or task for a new client could save an incomplete address, missing the map location, country, or county, that's resolved. New clients now get a complete, accurate address on save.
ACH Overpayment Shown on Every Invoice: Fixed an issue where paying multiple invoices at once with ACH showed the full payment amount as an overpayment on every invoice, that's resolved. Each invoice now shows its correct share of the payment.
Missing Confirmation When Saving a Card, Stuck Login Spinner: Fixed an issue in the Customer Portal where saving a new card didn't show a confirmation, and some login pages could get stuck on a loading spinner, that's resolved. You'll now see a confirmation when your card saves, and login pages load as expected.
ACH Skipped Past Your Saved Bank Account: Fixed an issue in the Customer Portal where choosing ACH as a payment method skipped past your saved bank accounts and went straight to adding a new one, that's resolved. Your saved accounts now show up first.
SMS Messaging Usage Not Billing Correctly: Fixed an issue where SMS messaging usage wasn't being billed correctly for certain accounts. Billing now reflects actual usage going forward.
Released the week of 7/6/26 👇
ACH Payments Not Marked as Paid: Fixed an issue where ACH payments that had already been received weren't being marked as paid in Docket, leaving affected invoices showing an incorrect balance due and triggering past-due notices, that's resolved. ACH payments now mark as paid correctly once funds are received.
Blocked Date Not Auto-Selecting as Service End Date: Fixed an issue in online booking where products set to allow service end on blocked dates weren't automatically selecting the blocked date to end a rental, defaulting instead to the day before, that's resolved. The blocked date is now selected automatically as expected.
Availability Sync Options Not Updating Other Products: Fixed an issue in online booking where using "Make Siblings Match" or "Make Everything Match" to sync product availability settings didn't update the other products in the set, that's resolved. Syncing now updates all products in the set as expected.
Recurring Stops Showing "New" Label Past Their First 3 Visits: Established recurring stops were still showing the "New" label, and counting toward your new-stop total, well past their first three service visits, on both web and mobile, that's resolved. Recurring stops now drop the "New" label after their first three visits as expected.
June Enhancements
Released the week of 6/22/26 👇
IronRoute AI Solver 2.1.0
The IronRoute AI optimization engine has been updated to version 2.1.0. This release focuses on route quality, routing accuracy, and result consistency.
Audience: IronRoute AI Users (Pro Plus Plan)
What Changed
- Stops that are geographically close together now stay on the same route instead of being distributed across multiple routes. In testing, this produced up to an approximately 8% reduction in total distance driven.
- Routes now account for time-of-day traffic conditions, so the plan your drivers receive better reflects what they will actually experience on the road.
- Road selection now respects commercial vehicle restrictions, so drivers are no longer sent down roads that are impractical or off-limits for their trucks.
- The solver now treats available container inventory at the yard as a firm limit throughout the entire routing pipeline. No route will be generated that requires more containers than you have on hand.
- Running the same optimization inputs now returns consistent results every time, making it easier to verify and trust the output.
Why It Matters
Previously, stops in the same area could end up scattered across different routes, adding unnecessary miles to the day. Better traffic modeling and tighter geographic grouping mean the routes your drivers actually run should now more closely match what IronRoute AI planned.

Better Layout for Service Addresses
Address cards for Commercial and Residential stops have been tightened up, making them shorter and easier to scan at a glance.
Audience: Commercial and Residential Customers
What Changed
- Address cards now use tighter spacing between fields and sections, reducing vertical length.
- The map and action buttons remain in place. Only the text content above them has been condensed.
Why It Matters
Previously, the extra padding on address cards stretched the content out, which made it harder to quickly read the key details you needed. The updated layout fits more information into less space.
Saved Stop Dates for Unscheduled Stops
When you remove a temporary stop from a future route that hasn't been built yet, Docket now remembers and restores the original date you had set for that stop.
Audience: Commercial and Residential Customers
What Changed
- Removing a temporary stop from a future, un-generated route no longer clears the stop's scheduled date.
- The stop returns to the Unassigned list on the date you originally picked, not across every day's list.
Why It Matters
Previously, removing a stop from a future route caused it to lose its scheduled date entirely, making it appear in every day's Unassigned list. You had to manually find it and reassign the correct date. The stop now goes back exactly where you expect it.
Image Metadata on Web
Images uploaded from the Docket Mobile App now display metadata as an overlay when viewed on the web.
What Changed
- Images taken or uploaded via the mobile app now show an overlay on the web preview with the following information, when available: timestamp of when the image was captured, driver name, and GPS coordinates.
- If an image has no metadata, it appears normally with no overlay or empty state.
Why It Matters
Dispatchers and back-office staff viewing photos, like weight ticket scans or job site images, previously had no way to confirm when, where, or by whom a photo was taken from the web. This is especially useful for compliance documentation and weight tickets.
Mobile Credit Card Payment Enhancements
Drivers can now save a client's credit card to their profile and set it as the default payment method during checkout in the Docket Mobile App.
Audience: Drivers using the Docket Mobile App and Collecting Payments in the Field
What Changed
- During a manual card entry payment, drivers can check "Save Card on File" to store the card on the client's profile.
- A second option, "Set as Default Payment Method," becomes available when saving a card. Checking both saves the card and marks it as the client's default for future payments.
- For manually entered cards, the app now pre-fills the billing address from the client's profile when one is on file. If no address is saved, drivers can enter it manually.
- After a successful card reader payment, drivers are prompted to save the card if it isn't already on file, with the option to set it as the default.
Why It Matters
Previously, drivers had no way to save a card to a client's profile during a field payment. Repeat clients had to re-enter card details every time. This update lets your team capture and store payment methods on the spot, reducing friction for future visits.
Location Name Now Required on C&R Stops
When creating or editing a commercial and residential stop, you are now required to have a location name before you can save.
Audience: Commercial and Residential Customers
What Changed
- The location name field is now required on the stop creation and editing forms.
- If you try to save without a name, a validation error appears on the Location Name field and the save is blocked.
- This applies to all stop editing surfaces: the inline form, the side deck, and the stop detail page.
Why It Matters
Previously, stops could be saved with a blank location name. That made them hard to identify in Route Tracker, in reporting, and during day-of dispatch. Every stop now carries a name your team can actually read.
New to Creating Stops?
Learn more about adding stops in Docket: Ad-Hoc Stops Overview and Add Recurring Stops to a Route
Timestamps on C&R Driver Logs
The stop side deck and stop details page now show the exact time each driver note, photo, and stop outcome was recorded.
Audience: Commercial and Residential Customers
What Changed
- A timestamp now appears next to each driver note, photo, and stop outcome on the stop side deck.
- The same timestamps appear on both the stop side deck and details page.
- Timestamps reflect when the event was recorded in Docket.
Why It Matters
Previously, there was no way to see when a driver added a note, submitted a photo, or logged a stop result without digging into system logs. That made it hard to resolve client disputes, like confirming a driver attempted a stop before a gate was locked. You can now see that information at a glance.
Released the week of 6/15/26 👇
In-App Camera Tools
Drivers now have manual controls in the Docket camera, including flash, zoom buttons, and better landscape mode support. Photo quality and resolution have also improved.
What Changed
- Manually turn the flash on or off before taking a photo
- Use on-screen zoom buttons to zoom in or out
- Landscape mode photos are better supported
- Images captured with the in-app camera have improved quality and resolution
Why It Matters
Drivers often take photos in low-light job sites or need to capture details from a distance. Without manual flash or zoom controls, getting a usable photo meant switching to their device's default camera. These tools keep that work in Docket.
Offline Connection Alert
The in-app alert that appears when a driver's phone loses internet now shows a clearer message and updated layout.
What Changed
- The banner that appears during a lost connection has a new layout
- The message text is more direct and easier to read at a glance
Why It Matters
Previously, drivers in areas with spotty service didn't always catch that their phone had gone offline. A clearer alert reduces the chance of a driver continuing to work without realizing their connection dropped.
Screen Header and Text Cleanup
Minor layout adjustments to screen headers and text alignment throughout the app make pages easier to read.
What Changed
- Header and text alignment updated on multiple screens
- Pages have a cleaner, more consistent appearance
Why It Matters
Small layout inconsistencies add up. These fixes make the app feel more polished and reduce visual clutter drivers have to sort through.
IronRoute AI Improved Traffic-Aware Route Creation
IronRoute AI now factors in time-of-day traffic when building optimized routes, producing more optimized routes throughout the day.
Audience: IronRoute AI Users (Pro Plus Plan)
What Changed
- IronRoute AI uses traffic-adjusted travel times for morning rush, off-peak, and evening rush windows when calculating optimized routes.
- Routes generated at different times of day now reflect realistic drive times for that period.
Why It Matters
Previously, route optimization used distance-based calculations that didn't account for traffic. A route optimized at 6:00am could suggest a sequence that becomes inefficient by mid-morning once traffic conditions change. Optimization now adjusts based on when the manifest actually runs.

Pricing Matrix Auto-Population on Recurring Invoices
When you link a recurring C&R stop to a recurring invoice, the charges from your pricing matrix now populate automatically as line items.
Audience: Commercial and Residential Customers
What Changed
- Linking a recurring stop to a recurring invoice now triggers the pricing matrix to populate charges as line items automatically.
- Each line item reflects the rate configured in your matrix for that stop's activity type, bin type, and material.
Why It Matters
Previously, linking a recurring stop to an invoice generated a blank invoice every time. Every charge had to be manually re-entered from scratch, even though the rates were already configured in the pricing matrix.
Service Time Field Updates
Three changes to how service time works on stops shipped in this release.
Audience: Commercial and Residential Customers
What Changed
- The service time field on stop creation and editing no longer defaults to 8:00am. The field starts blank and a time is only saved when you enter one explicitly.
- You can now set and save a desired service time on unassigned ad-hoc stops. The saved time appears on the stop's Schedule card before the stop is placed on a manifest.
- Stops imported via XLSX or CLI no longer receive an 8:00am desired service time. They now import with no service time set, matching stops created manually.
Why It Matters
Previously, 8:00am was automatically applied to every stop, whether it was created manually, unassigned, or imported. That default could create confusion about whether a time had been intentionally set. Service time now only reflects what's been entered on purpose.
Released the week of 6/8/26 👇
Photo Auto-Save to Camera Roll
Photos you take in the Docket Mobile App now save automatically to your device's camera roll.
Audience: Drivers using the Docket Mobile App
What Changed
- Photos captured through the app save directly to your device's photo library as soon as you take them.
- A library icon now appears in the app, giving you quick access to photos stored on your device.
Why It Matters
Previously, photos taken in the app existed only within Docket. If you needed a copy on your device, you had to save it separately. Now that step happens automatically, so your photos are always in both places without any extra work.
C&R Pricing Matrix Export Includes Overage Fee
The C&R pricing matrix Excel export and template download now include the Overage Fee column. The Add Price side deck also includes a new C&R Overage field.
Audience: Commercial and Residential Customers
What Changed
- The Excel export of the C&R pricing matrix now includes the Overage Fee column with values that match what is shown in the matrix UI.
- The matrix template download now includes all C&R fields, including the Overage Fee column, making it usable for bulk import without a workaround.
- The Add Price side deck now includes a C&R Overage field that maps to the same column in the pricing matrix.
Why It Matters
Previously, the Overage Fee was visible in the matrix UI but silently dropped from the Excel export. Anyone doing bulk pricing setup had to manually re-enter overage fee data that was already configured in the system.
Level 3 Payment Improvements: Tax Handling and Line Item Normalization
Two improvements to Level 3 payment processing shipped in this release. Both affect how Docket sends payment data.
What Changed
- For merchants that do not collect sales tax, the tax exempt flag now sends correctly. This resolves a class of Visa validation errors (CS-0004, CS-0005, CS-0006, CS-0011) that were preventing transactions from qualifying for Level 3 interchange rates.
- Invoices with discounts now normalize those discounts at the line item level before calculating per-line taxes, which matches how payment processors expect tax breakdowns to be structured.
Why It Matters
These errors were silently disqualifying transactions from Level 3 interchange rates, which can affect processing costs.

IronRouteAI Unassigned View Split-Screen Restored
When building routes from unassigned stops, the IronRouteAI preview now shows the map and route list side by side at the same time.
Audience: IronRouteAI Users (Pro Plus Plan)
What Changed
- When generating routes from unassigned stops, the IronRouteAI preview modal now displays a split-screen layout with the map on one side and the route list on the other.
- Both panels are visible simultaneously without scrolling.
- This applies to the unassigned route creation flow only. The before/after comparison view for existing routes is unchanged.
Why It Matters
Previously, the route list appeared below the full-screen map in this view, requiring significant scrolling to see both at once. That made it hard to cross-reference the map and the list while reviewing proposed routes.

Cleaner, More Accurate Task History
Task History now shows only meaningful, user-facing changes, with accurate status transitions and clearer linked task labels.
What Changed
- Internal routing fields, empty timeline rows, and duplicate log entries no longer appear in Task History.
- Failure details (Failed By, Reason for Failure, Origin of Failure) now appear only when a task is actually being marked as failed, not when completing or un-completing a task.
- The "Failed?" status transition now shows the correct before/after values instead of always displaying "Yes to No."
- Linked tasks now show meaningful context, such as "No connection → Task #12345," instead of blank or incomplete rows.
Why It Matters
Previously, Task History surfaced system-level fields and showed incorrect failure state values, making the timeline hard to read and sometimes misleading. It was difficult to get an accurate picture of what actually changed on a task and when.
Ad Hoc Stops Now Appear Immediately in Route Tracker
Ad hoc stops now appear in Route Tracker right away after scheduling, and are visually distinguished from recurring stops so dispatchers can identify them at a glance.
Audience: Commercial and Residential Customers
What Changed
- After scheduling an ad hoc stop, it appears immediately in the Unassigned list or the assigned route. No page refresh needed.
- Ad hoc stops now display an "Ad-hoc" label on the stop card, in the stop instance side deck, and on the stop details page, regardless of whether the stop is assigned or unassigned.
Why It Matters
Previously, ad hoc stops weren't appearing in Route Tracker after scheduling, which made it difficult for Dispatchers to manage them. Stops now show up where you expect them, immediately.

Route Tracker and Recurring Routes Refresh Automatically
Changes made in Recurring Routes now appear in Route Tracker immediately, without requiring a manual page refresh.
Audience: Commercial and Residential Customers
What Changed
- Adding stops, editing stops, or adjusting stops on a Recurring Route now reflects in Route Tracker right away after saving.
- Dispatchers and schedulers no longer need to reload the page to see current route data.
Why It Matters
Previously, any change made in Recurring Routes required a manual refresh before it appeared in Route Tracker. That made it easy to work off stale data without realizing it, especially mid-shift when things are moving fast.
New to Recurring Routes?
Learn more about recurring routes in Docket: Recurring Routes Overview
Recurring Invoice Now Accessible from the Global "+ New" Menu
You can now search for and create a Recurring Invoice from the global "+ New" menu from any screen in Docket, without navigating to a specific page first..
What Changed
- Click the "+ New" button from anywhere in Docket and Recurring Invoice will be an option in the drop-down menu, or use the Search Actions to find it.
- Selecting "Recurring Invoice" opens the same recurring invoice creation flow you use today. No steps or fields have changed.
Why It Matters
Previously, accessing recurring invoice creation required knowing which page to navigate to first. The global + New menu makes it findable from anywhere in Docket.
New to Recurring Invoices?
Learn more about setting up recurring billing in Docket: Generating One-Time and Recurring Invoices
No More $0 Invoices for Comp Accounts
Docket no longer generates recurring invoices for accounts with no billing rate configured.
Audience: Customers that have Comp or Exempt Clients on Recurring Billing
What Changed
- Recurring invoice generation now skips accounts with no billing rate set. No new $0.00 invoices will be created for those accounts going forward.
- Previously generated $0.00 invoices remain in your account for review or voiding, but will not be recreated.
Why It Matters
Comp or exempt accounts were generating $0.00 invoices on their normal billing cadence, cluttering the billing queue and creating risk that a $0 invoice could be sent to a client by mistake. The billing queue now only surfaces invoices that need action.
June Bug Fixes
Released the week of 6/29/26 👇
Estimate Counts Not Updating for Declined or Reviewed Estimates: Fixed an issue where Estimate counts didn't update correctly when an estimate was marked Declined or Reviewed. Counts now reflect the correct status right away.
Card Charging Error for Some Merchants: Fixed an issue where some merchants got a "this field only accepts integers" error when charging a card, blocking the payment from going through. Card charges now process correctly.
Released the week of 6/22/26 👇
Invoice Alert Appearing Incorrectly on Repeat-Billing Accounts: Fixed an issue where creating an invoice from a repeat-billing account triggered a warning stating there were no billable activities, even when billable activity existed. The warning no longer appears when the account has charges to invoice.
Calendar Preview Showing Wrong Run Dates for Recurring Stops: Corrected the scheduling preview calendar for recurring stops set to repeat every time the route operates. The calendar now shows the correct future service dates matching the route's configured run days.
Temporary Stops Disappearing After Daily Schedule Generation: Fixed an issue where temporary, custom stops were being detached from a driver's manifest after the daily schedule was generated, causing them to disappear entirely. Stops now remain visible and assigned as expected after the manifest is built.
Job Date Changes Not Saving in the Mobile App: Fixed an issue introduced in the June 17 app update where changing the date or time on a scheduled job and tapping save was not moving the job to the new date on the driver's schedule. Date and time changes now save and apply correctly.
Weight Ticket Photos Resetting During Task Completion: Fixed an issue where photos added to a weight ticket were disappearing each time a driver advanced through the steps to complete a disposal task. Photos now stay attached throughout the entire task completion flow.
Dump Expense Calculator Not Calculating Correctly: Resolved an issue where the dump expense calculator on the weight ticket was returning an error requiring cubic yards when the job was measured in tons. The calculator now correctly pulls in expense costs based on your configured dump location rates.
Offline Mode Triggering Incorrectly for Connected Users: Fixed an issue where users with an active internet connection were being placed into offline mode, causing photos to queue instead of upload and, in some cases, be lost. The offline indicator now only triggers when a connection is genuinely lost. Photos taken while offline are also now backed up to the device's camera roll.
Ad-Hoc Stop Not Attaching to Route Manifest When Created Outside of Route Tracker: Fixed an issue where ad-hoc stops created from pages other than Route Tracker were not attaching to the correct day's manifest. Stops now attach to the right manifest regardless of where in Docket you create them.
Ad-Hoc Stop Without a Route Not Appearing in Unassigned Stops on the Scheduled Date: Fixed an issue where ad-hoc stops created for a future date without a route assigned were not showing up in the Unassigned Stops list on the scheduled date. Stops now appear in Unassigned Stops on the date you set.
"Cannot Route Drivers" Error on the Dispatch Board: Resolved an intermittent error that appeared when trying to route drivers on the Dispatch board. Drivers can now be routed without error.
Waste Materials Not Showing in Dump Location and Dumpster Settings Selectors: Fixed an issue where waste materials were not appearing in the selector menus when setting up dump locations or dumpster settings. Materials now load correctly in all relevant selectors.
Brokered Orders Not Generating Charges on Acceptance: Fixed an issue where accepting a brokered order from the Brokers tab was not automatically generating charges, even when billing was configured to Charge on Pickup. Charges now generate automatically when a brokered order is accepted.
Renaming an Expense Category Removing Previously Logged Expenses from View: Fixed an issue where updating an expense category name in account settings caused expenses filed under the old name to disappear from the Expenses page. Renaming a category no longer affects previously logged expenses.
Ad-Hoc Stop Losing Its Scheduled Date When Edited: Fixed an issue where editing an ad-hoc stop was clearing its scheduled calendar date. The scheduled date now persists through edits.
C&R Stop Scheduling Calendar Showing Wrong Run Dates: Corrected the calendar preview for recurring stops set to "Every Time the Route Operates." The preview now shows the correct days the route runs.
Pricing Matrix Not Loading in Sub-Accounts: Resolved an issue where clicking "Manage Pricing Matrix" in a sub-account returned no data despite the matrix existing. The matrix now loads correctly in sub-accounts.
DocketShop Logo Size Slider Not Updating the Preview: Fixed an issue where the Logo Size slider in DocketShop's online booking settings was not updating the logo preview. The slider now resizes the logo in real time.
Rental Prices Dropping Trailing Zeros in DocketShop: Fixed a formatting issue where rental prices ending in zero (like $250.50) displayed as $250.5 in the DocketShop storefront. Prices now display the full amount.
Released the week of 6/15/26 👇
Camera Preview Appeared Zoomed In or Distorted: When taking a photo or reviewing it in dispatch, the preview screen showed the image slightly zoomed in or distorted. That's resolved. The preview now accurately reflects what was captured.
C&R Pricing Matrix Template Failed to Download: The C&R pricing matrix template was failing to download in some environments due to a missing access token in the file URL. That's resolved. Downloads now work correctly.
Driver Start/End Location Missing from Route Comparison: When using the IronRouteAI route comparison modal, a driver's dynamic start or end location was not appearing on the optimized side of the comparison, which caused incorrect routing data to display. That's resolved. The optimized side now shows the correct start and end locations.
Wrong Yard Shown for Return-to-Yard Tasks in Comparison Modal: The IronRouteAI route comparison modal was ignoring per-task Return to Yard settings and showing the default yard instead. Affected tasks displayed the wrong yard location in the comparison view. That's resolved. The modal now uses the correct Return to Yard setting for each task.
Billing Issues Count was Incorrect in Assets: The billing issues count shown in the Assets section was displaying a higher number than the actual issues listed. That's resolved. The count now accurately reflects what's in the list.
Released the week of 6/8/26 👇
Commercial Pre-Pay Filter Not Returning Results on the Invoice Page: When you filtered invoices by the "Commercial Pre-Pay" client type, the page returned zero results or only a few invoices, even when matching invoices existed in the system. That's resolved. Invoices tagged as Commercial Pre-Pay now appear consistently when you apply that filter.
Dump Location Applying to the Wrong Task During Schedule Next Task: When you scheduled a Pick Up task from an active Drop Off task and selected a Dump Location for the Pick Up, that location was incorrectly getting applied to the Drop Off task as well. That's resolved. Only the Pick Up task receives the selected Dump Location.
C&R Stops Table Search Not Returning Results by Client Name: Searching for a client by name in the C&R Stops table returned zero results, even when the client had active stops visible in the list. That's resolved. Full and partial name searches now return matching results, consistent with how the Clients search works.
Weight Overage Charge Disappearing after Creation: After logging a weight overage charge from the Billing Issues scale flow, the charge appeared briefly and then vanished without saving, that's resolved. Overage charges now save and display correctly after creation.
General Tasks Not Opening or Closing from the Schedule Page: General tasks created via Schedule Event could not be opened or deleted from the Scheduling page. Clicking a task produced a blank spinning screen, and closing it caused the full page to go blank, that's resolved. Tasks can now be opened and managed directly from the Schedule page.
Dumpsters.com Exchange Requests not Appearing on the Broker Page: Inbound requests from Dumpsters.com were not showing up on the Broker page, even though email notifications and purchase orders were being sent correctly. Operators had to manually enter the task as a workaround, that's resolved. Requests now appear on the Broker page as expected.
Duplicate Address Created When Adding a New Client During Stop Creation: When creating a new client during stop or task creation, two address records were generated instead of one, a named address and a duplicate "[client name] - primary" entry, that's resolved. Only one address record is created.
DocketShop Logo Size Slider Not Working: The Logo Size slider in the DocketShop embed (Online Booking > Service Address Lookup) had stopped responding, that's resolved. The slider now correctly scales the logo display.
Released the week of 6/1/26 👇
Task Failing Reverts to Pending: When marking a task as failed, the status was reverting back to pending instead of holding, that's resolved. Tasks now stay in a failed status after you mark them.
Mobile Card Reader Payments Not Processing: Card reader payments were appearing to start processing but then failing every time without completing, that's resolved. Mobile card reader payments now process successfully.
Pricing Matrix Import Overrides Subscription Field: When uploading a Commercial and Residential (C&R) pricing matrix, the Subscription field on every line item was being set to "No" after import, regardless of what was configured in the file. That required manual correction after every import, that's resolved. The import now reads and applies the Subscription value from your file.
Fixed an issue where previously removed failed tasks were reappearing in billing issues, causing confusion for customers who had already resolved them.
Fixed an issue on split-exchange tasks where changing the drop-off dumpster size without saving and then clicking "+ Invoice" would generate a line item with the correct size label but a $0.00 rate.
Fixed an issue where customers who paid a past-due invoice via ACH were still receiving past-due email/SMS reminders while the payment was in a pending state.
Fixed an issue in DocketShop where delivery fees were not having tax applied even when the tax setting was enabled in Dumpster Management, the setting was correctly applied on manually created tasks but ignored in the DocketShop flow.
Fixed an issue in DocketShop where the credit card field was missing at checkout when a customer navigated back to add a product without refreshing the page.

Released the week of 5/25/26 👇
Recurring Route Sidebar
The Recurring Route sidebar has updated spacing and padding for a cleaner, easier-to-read layout.
Audience: Commercial and Residential Customers
Before |
After |
What Changed
- The sidebar that appears when you open a recurring route now has more consistent spacing between stops and better padding around each row.
- No workflow changes. You access and use the sidebar the same way as before.
Why It Matters
Scanning a long stop list in a cramped sidebar made it harder to read at a glance. The updated layout gives each stop more breathing room, so you can move through your Stops list faster.

Billing Alert for Unit Size Mismatch
When a driver drops off a unit that doesn't match the size on the task, Docket now raises a billing alert before the invoice is finalized.
What Changed
- If the unit dropped off is a different size than what the task specified, a "Billing Issues" alert appears automatically.
- The alert flags the discrepancy so you can review and correct it before sending the invoice to your client.
Why It Matters
Unit size mismatches can lead to invoicing the wrong amount. Previously, those discrepancies could slip through to the invoice without any flag. This alert catches them at the right moment, before they become billing errors or client disputes.
Stop Cards Now Show Business or Client Name
Stop cards in Route Tracker and the Docket Mobile App now display the business name, or the client name if no business name is on file, as the primary label on every stop.
Audience: Commercial and Residential Customers
What Changed
- Stop cards across the stop side deck, stop details page, mobile list, and map views now show the business or client name as the primary identifier.
- The generic label "Primary Location" no longer appears on stop cards.
- Existing stop names saved with a "- Primary" suffix will remain as-is. Going forward, stops will default to the business name, or the client name if no business name exists, without that suffix appended.
Why It Matters
Scanning a route by "Primary Location" labels made it harder to identify stops quickly. Your drivers and dispatchers now see the actual business or client name at a glance, which speeds up route scanning and reduces confusion in the field.
New to the C&R Route Tracker?

DocketShop Service Address Autofill
Clients booking through your DocketShop online store can now search for and select their service address from a predictive dropdown as they type.
What Changed
- As a client types their service address, a predictive dropdown appears with matching suggestions.
- Clients can select their address from the list or continue typing to enter it manually if their address isn't suggested.
Why it Matters
Address typos are one of the most common sources of booking errors, especially on mobile. The predictive dropdown speeds up entry and reduces the chance of a mistyped address.
Released the week of 5/11/26 👇
ETA-Based Timeline View
The dispatch timeline now shows estimated task start times based on Route ETAs, giving you a real-time picture of how a driver's day is tracking.
Audience: Dispatchers, Admins, and Owners
What Changed
- Tasks on the timeline now display estimated start times calculated from Route ETAs.
- The ETA between tasks reflects the estimated drive time to the next stop, using HERE Maps based on the task sequence.
- Dumps and yards attached at the task level also appear on the timeline.
- As tasks are completed, you can see whether drivers are finishing work on time or running behind relative to the original ETA estimates.
- Route ETAs are generated when you click the Route button on a driver's column.
Why it Matters
Previously, the timeline didn't reflect when tasks were actually expected to happen during the day. Now it shows a time-based view of the driver's schedule so you can track progress in real time and catch delays before they become problems.

Client Contact Info Form Validation
The contact info form for adding a new client has been redesigned to prevent unsaved entries from being lost.
What Changed
- Previously, if you typed a phone number or email address but didn't click the + button to save it, the entry was silently dropped with no warning.
- The updated form catches unsaved entries and handles them before letting you move forward.
Why it Matters
There was no indication that an entry had been lost. You could type a phone number or email, miss the + button, and move on without realizing it was gone. That no longer happens.
New to adding Clients?

Project Name Drop-down
Project names on invoices, charges, tasks, and other billing records now work from a managed drop-down list at the client level, replacing the previous free-text field.
What Changed
-
Project names are now managed in the billing section of a client's Client Settings. You can add new ones, and soft-delete ones you no longer need.
- When a project name is deleted from the client's list, it stays on any existing records where it was already used. It just won't appear as an active option going forward.
- Anywhere you could previously type a project name freehand, invoices, charges, tasks, etc., you'll now see a drop-down showing that client's saved project names instead.
- You can still add a new project name directly by writing the new name instead of selecting from the drop-down.
- If you were already using project names before this update, your account was automatically populated with project names from the past 6 months so your existing list carried over.
Why it Matters
Free-text project name fields meant typos and inconsistent names across invoices, tasks, and charges for the same project. The drop-down keeps names consistent across all records for a client, which matters for reporting and billing accuracy.
Task Color Theming Preview
The Task Type Colors setting in Dumpster Management has been redesigned with a live preview of task cards.
What Changed
- You can find Task Type Colors at:
- Account > Settings > Add Ons > Dumpster Management > Theming > Task Type Colors.
- As you select a color for each task type (Drop Off, Pickup, Exchange, etc.), the preview updates in real time.
- The preview shows exactly how your task cards will look on the dispatch board before you save.
Why it Matters
Previously you had to save your color selections and check the dispatch board to see the result. Now you can confirm everything looks right before committing.

Automatic SMS Opt-Out Handling: If a customer has opted out of texts by replying STOP, Docket will now stop sending them SMS messages automatically. SMS will start again if they opt back in or their phone number is updated.
Notification Log SMS Delivery Status: The Notification Log will now display "Delivered" or "Failed" statuses (rather than "Sent") for SMS messages based on whether or not they are successfully delivered to the customer.
Minimized Left Nav — Notification Dots & Tooltips: The left sidebar now shows a small dot instead of a number badge when a section needs your attention. You can also hover over any icon to see its name.
Account → Profile Redesign: The Account Profile page has a new look with quick links to your most-used settings and status tiles for Online Booking, 10DLC, and your plan. The Account Checkup section is still there and can now be collapsed.
Clearer Route Cards on Commercial & Residential Routes: You’ll now see "New" or "Ad Hoc" labels and specific location names on your route cards so you know exactly what is on your schedule.
Select Mobile Admin Actions: Permissioned drivers & all account admins can now schedule drop off & pick up tasks, view & modify driver schedules, and assign open tasks to other drivers from the mobile app. You can manage these app settings at the employee level via the Web App under Employee -> Access -> Mobile, but all Administrator roles have been defaulted to "on" and can access this new functionality.
New & Improved "Operations" tab is replacing the "Assets" tab: We gave a fresh coat of paint to our Assets tab - you can now access everything you were able to do via the "Assets" tab, but with improved UI, on the "Operations" tab in the app!
May Bug Fixes
Released the week of 5/25/26 👇
Fixed an issue in Dispatch where automatic rerouting for Route ETAs did not account for a pending dump stop after a driver completed a pickup but hadn't yet arrived at the dump site.
Fixed an issue where employees were receiving paid invoice SMS notifications even when no phone number was saved in their notification settings. Notifications will no longer send to a phone number that isn't explicitly configured.
Fixed an issue where newly created leads were not appearing in the Leads section after being added. Leads were generating email notifications and appearing in reporting, but were not showing up in the leads list itself.
Released the week of 5/18/26 👇
Dispatch & Route Management: Fixed an issue where driver notes added to recurring route stops weren't appearing in the daily manifest, the Docket Mobile App, or on printed route sheets. Notes now carry over automatically to every scheduled occurrence.
Messaging: Fixed an issue where SMS message delivery status updates weren't being processed correctly. Message statuses will now update as expected.
Payments & Billing Accuracy: Fixed a bug where importing a Pricing Matrix CSV was not reading the Project Name column, causing project-name rows to be dropped during import.
Notifications & Communications: Resolved a timing issue where scheduled client task notifications were firing 3 hours earlier than the configured delivery time.
Fixed an issue where contractor purchase order emails were displaying raw formatting code in the message body instead of rendering correctly.
Released the week of 5/11/26 👇
Online Booking: Fixed a bug in Online Booking where customers were shown an incorrect error about service length when the "Include Start Day" setting was enabled. The date picker now shows the right number of days and won't prompt customers to add extra days.
Pricing & Billing Accuracy: Fixed an issue where the fuel surcharge was not applying to a task when there were multiple pricing options to choose from in the pricing matrix. It now applies correctly in all cases.
Fixed a bug where the billing address was showing up instead of the service address during task creation when both addresses were the same. This caused the Project Name to not carry over to the task. The service address now shows correctly.
Settings: Fixed an issue where the Company Payroll and Company Employees settings pages were not loading. Both pages now open as expected.
Commercial & Residential: The + button for creating new C&R records is now available when using Docket on a mobile browser or tablet. Before, the button was missing on smaller screens.
Dispatch & Scheduling: Fixed a bug where exchange tasks could not be created through the Schedule Event flow. The Create button was stuck even after all fields were filled in correctly.
General Platform: Fixed an error that occurred when adding a new service address to a task. The form now works as expected.
Released the week of 5/4/26 👇
Billing & Charges: Fixed an issue where changes to weight and overage on a task were not showing up in Billing Issues. Charges were being created at $0, but will now use the correct amounts from the task.
Fixed an issue where completed tasks were not triggering a "weight not recorded" billing issue, even when the setting was turned on.
Commercial & Residential: Fixed a bug where new stops were showing as paused on their first day, even though no pause was set. Stops will now show as active on their first scheduled run day.
Route lines on the map now always show the right color for each route. Before, the color would sometimes change based on a stop's status, which made routes hard to tell apart.
Client Dashboard & Payments: Fixed an issue where customers could not add ACH payment info or pay invoices through the Client Dashboard. Both actions now work as expected.
Online Booking: Fixed a bug in Online Booking where the "Distance Calculation Strategy" setting kept switching back to "Routed" after being saved as "Straight Line." The setting now stays as you set it.
Dispatch: You can now drag and drop drivers into any order you want, and the list and map will stay in sync. Your custom order is saved, so it will still be there the next time you log in.
Navigation Fix: Fixed a bug that sometimes sent drivers to the wrong address.
Payment Stability: Fixed an issue where iPhones would freeze up while trying to take a payment on an invoice.
Visible Stop Issues: Any issues reported on a finished C&R stop will now show up correctly when you go back to review them.
April Enhancements
Released the week of 4/27/26 👇
Under-the-Hood Improvements: We’ve updated our app to work perfectly with the newest phone software. This keeps everything running smoothly and makes sure the app stays fast and reliable for you!
Commercial and Residential Enhancements
Unsaved Change Warnings: We've added a safeguard across more pages to protect your work. If you make changes on and Commercial & Residential trash pages - Recurring Routes, Stops, Recurring Stops, or Route Tracker - and attempt to navigate away before saving, you'll now see a prompt asking you to confirm. Your changes will stay intact if you choose to stay on the page.
Jobs
Improved Estimate & Invoice Assignment: You can now remove a previously assigned estimate or invoice from a job. The list of assignable records is also now filtered to show only estimates and invoices for that job's customer, so you'll always be working with the right records.
Route Printing
Faster, Cleaner Route PDFs: Exported route PDFs are now significantly smaller and easier to print. We also corrected a layout problem where stop rows were duplicating across page breaks.
Released the week of 4/20/26 👇
Commercial and Residential Enhancements
Location Names Across Recurring Stops Views: The Recurring Stops table, Stops table, Sidedeck Stops tab, and Search now display a recognizable location name for each stop (for example, "ACME Headquarters") instead of the previously blank "Stop Name" field. Column headers have been updated to "Location Name," and you can sort by location name in all three tables. This makes it much easier to scan your routes and find specific customer stops at a glance.
Images and Comments on Stop Cards: You can now see at a glance whether any stop has a driver photo or comment attached, right on the stop card. Hover the comment icon to preview the note, click the image icon to open a full-screen photo viewer, and use the redesigned "Stop Comment" section in the sidedeck to review the full details. This makes it much easier to catch field notes and visual evidence without digging into each stop.

Navigation & Workspace
Persisted Left Navigation State: The left navigation bar now remembers whether you've minimized it, across browser sessions and new logins. Collapse it once, and your workspace will open exactly how you like it every time you come back.
Recurring Invoices
Clearer Recurrence End Options: The recurrence configuration for recurring invoices now uses mutually exclusive radio buttons for the three end conditions (never ends, ends on a specific date, ends after a set number of occurrences) when "Custom" is selected for Interval. Selecting "End On Date" or "End After X" reveals the relevant input field automatically, so there's no longer any ambiguity about which option is in effect.
Accurate Net Payment Terms: "Net 10 / 20 / 30" payment terms on recurring invoices now correctly set the invoice due date based on the number of days you've configured. This means late status is calculated accurately and your automated late reminders will trigger at the right time.
IronRouteAI Clarity: Dump locations configured with a $0 price now explicitly display "$0.00 per ton" (or yard) in the Dumps list instead of "no price set." This makes it easy to tell the difference between a free disposal site you've intentionally configured and a pricing gap that still needs attention.
Released the week of 4/13/26 👇
New Invoicing Interface: We’ve updated how you open and fill out invoices within a Job to make the process smoother and more reliable.
Improved Timesheets: Entering reasons for your time logs is now easier and matches the look and feel of the rest of the app, especially when filling out text.
DocketShop Product Configuration: Admins can now flag individual products as "Pickup Only" or "Drop-off Only." This is particularly useful for items like dump bags that only need one leg of service, and keeps DocketShop from generating unnecessary tasks for your office team to clean up.
Commercial and Residential Enhancements
Location Names on Stop Cards: Route Tracker stop cards now show the location name (like a business or site name) as the primary identifier, making it faster to scan routes and find specific customer stops without reading through full addresses.
Improved Stop Card Legibility: Stop number colors now automatically adjust based on your route color, so the stop sequence is easy to read at a glance regardless of how dark or light the route is assigned.
Default Days from Route: When setting up a recurring stop, the operating days now automatically match the days your selected route runs, saving you a step during setup.
Ad Hoc Stop Scheduling: You can now set the date and route for an ad hoc stop while creating it, with a direct link to jump into the Route Tracker and place the stop in sequence.
Territories Refinements: We've polished several details in the Territories feature — clearer placeholder text in the search bar, more obvious disabled states for unavailable buttons, and better visual feedback when creating a new territory.
IronRouteAI Enhancements
Route Replay Animation: You can now watch a synchronized animation of your fleet moving through their routes over the course of the day. This is especially powerful in Before vs. After comparisons, letting you see the clock run and confirm that optimized routes finish the day's work earlier than your historical baseline.
Historical Vehicle Data for Comparisons: IronRouteAI now uses the vehicle and driver assignments that existed on the historical date you're comparing against, so "Before" metrics are accurate and tasks don't get erroneously dropped due to truck changes since then.
Responsive Metrics Layout: The Analytics tab in the Preview Modal now scales properly for larger fleets, so your route quality data remains fully visible regardless of how many tasks or vehicles you're reviewing.
Released the week of 4/6/26 👇
IronRouteAI Enhancements
Expanded Operational Support: IronRouteAI now supports multiple starting yards and individualized driver start times. This allows the tool to create logical routes that respect your specific fleet logistics and different shift schedules.
Enhanced Route Balancing: We’ve upgraded how the tool finds the most efficient and balanced routes across your entire fleet. By analyzing the fleet as a single, coordinated team, the tool ensures every driver has a full and fair day’s work with minimal finish-time variance.
Precision for Time-Sensitive Tasks: We’ve improved how the tool handles high-priority and scheduled tasks. Critical work is now more reliably slotted into the most appropriate time of day without sacrificing the efficiency of the surrounding stops.
Route Quality Insights: New preview analytics let you dig into the "Quality Score" of every optimization. You can now see exactly how well the tool balanced the workload and routed your tasks, giving you more confidence in the results.
Enhanced User Interface: It's now possible to see details like estimated task arrival time and task priority directly in the Preview by toggling Details on. It's also now possible to highlight different tasks on the map to view more information.
Commercial and Residential Enhancements
Street-Level Route Visibility: We have upgraded the map views for Commercial and Residential recurring routes. Instead of simple straight lines, the map now shows the actual street paths your drivers will take. This provides a clearer picture of route density and proximity for better planning.
April Bug Fixes
Released the week of 4/27/26 👇
Dispatch & Reporting: Resolved an issue where a driver's route was still showing tasks that had been reassigned to a different driver, causing inaccurate route details for the day.
Payments & Billing Accuracy: Resolved a bug on exchange tasks where the weight allowance was referencing the size of the new container being dropped off rather than the container being picked up.
Dispatch & Reporting: Fixed an issue in the Reports (Legacy) tab where the "Run Report" button was not appearing, preventing reports from being run.
Resolved a bug where Dump Later tasks could not be reassigned to a different driver from the dispatch view when a default driver was configured in scheduling settings.
Invoicing & Billing: Fixed an issue where a sales rep assigned to a client was not automatically populating on newly created invoices.
Resolved a display issue where invoices were showing a QuickBooks Online sync indicator when they had not actually been synced.
Fixed a bug where the Summary of Work field was not automatically filling in on invoices created from charges tied to the same task.
